We Won!!! on 10/24/2008

Our family was visiting Hollywood Studios and at about 11:30am while getting in the queue for "Walt Disney's World of Animation (sp?)" over by the Ariel ride and Playhouse disney.

Our entire group received a bonus 1hr after the theme park closed.

So, you wonder? What does this entail the rest of the day.

Well, our group of 4 plus 1000 others were gathered at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular arena about 8:00pm (park closed). They played music from "Shears, grass, and something"....80's songs!!! Woohoo. Then they let us go.

Guess where 1000 people went? Yep! Toy Story mania....60min wait. Oh well, we rode a couple rides, then went home. Kinda of moot point after riding all the rides in the park all day....now you got to do it when your extremely exhausted and tired.

Some dream come true! Haha...

We did get some cool badges to wear throughout the day and people were stairing at us wondering what is that those people are wearing...it say's something with "A Million Dreams Winner" on it.

That was cool.

Oh well....that's all the luck we had in our 8 day trip to WDW this past week.

I'm sorry that's hilarious. It's like "there are other rides in the park as well! " I feel bad you guys didn't get to ride, but that's too funny thats where everyone went to.

Congrats on winning!! I had to work at Animal Kingdom one day when we had that "prize" at our park for an hour after closing. Fun times .

I'm glad you thought it was funny.....thick with Irony was that night.

After that, I think we did ride RNR and Tower of Terror.

But Really!!! What is an extra hour if you have been there all day? It's not like we were going to hop to another park and come back to HS for an hour.

After winning this prize, I did think about the extra magic hours at night....Why am I going to spend another 3hrs here after I've been riding everything all day long? So, I guess park hopper would be the correct answer to this question? Right?

I could see going to MK in the morning, then Epcot at night....resting in between parks.

Oh well, we did have fun and it was nice "Winning" something!!!!

my family also won this last year in April in AK! we were in the room at Dinosaur (where they play the movie about the time rover and seatbelts) and they told us we were in the right place in the right time so everybody who was in the room won this prize too! and so we left and then came back for the extra hour to ride some rides (only a few rides were offered to ride and a TFOLK was showing) we rode EE 5 times! it was sooo awesome
