We Were The Grand Marshals Of MNSSHP!!

Yep...thats me. My mother in law was dressed as Minnie. Take note of the video camera in my hand. I taped the entire parade route from the float. My wife and daughter had GREAT costumes....but the CM who picked said we were simply having fun. We were having a BLAST! I was unsure about wearing a costume, but we had a great night. I'm going to post a mini trip report a bit later with more details....It was a magical week.

k- I read this to my h and my kids freaked!
They all want to dress in a theme to try to increase our chances of being picked. LOL
So- would it be better to go all as one Disney story, or (what the kiddos would love) could it work for the girls to all go as Disney princesses, and Daddy and little boy (1) as Prince Charmings...

Hey MM,

We were GM's with you that night!! My wife was Cruella, my DD was Snow White and I was a pirate. We rode on the bottom of the double decker bus. Have to say it was a magical moment. The highlight for me was being behind the scenes while the Headless Horseman readied for his run.....WAY to Cool.

Hi steve!!!! I was hoping the other GM families from that parade would reply! You guys looked really great. Wasn't it a blast? I agree about the headless horseman, that is my favorite part too! I hope your family had a great time!!!

Oogie Boogie you rock!!!!! Next time we watch a parade I have to remember to take photos of the GM families. Hopefully I will make their day like you made ours!!!!!!

It truly was a really magical moment. I felt so lucky I came home and bought a lottery ticket.....but seriously...when you think about it....Disney finds a million ways to make each guests stay terrific. Sometimes the little things are even more impressive. My daughter, dressed as Snow White, getting an autograph from a very impressive Evil Queen at the end of the night was amazing. The Queen was terrific and really made DD feel like Snow White.
