Congratulations!!! SSR is also our home resort and we love it. Since joining in April 2008 we've stayed in every resort except BCV and BLT. So far our favorite resorts are SSR and AKV Kidani. We're very happy with our decision to purchase.

We own at SSR and I never get tired of it. Our first stay in the treehouse villas is booked for this April. Can't wait. We are also from Ontario and love to escape the winter for a little bit each year. You will love it.

Welcome home! What a great story; it reminds me a bit of our own.

We were on our first trip to WDW (we were living in Ontario at the time too). On our last day in the parks, my DH and DS went off to buy a sword at POTC while I stood in line to get Stitch's autograph. After I got that, I started talking to the DVC guy at the kiosk who talked me into a tour the next morning before our flight left.

We went to the tour, thought it over, and bought at SSR when we got home. We had looked at other time-shares, and they just didn't make as much sense as DVC did.

We tease my son that it was a very expensive sword that he bought.

I love having a full kitchen and laundry when I'm on vacation. I get up every morning and cook a nice breakfast. Some of my friends think I'm crazy that I cook so much when I'm on vacation but it doesn't bother me a bit. I also love coming home without a huge suitcase full of dirty laundry and being able to pack so much lighter because I can wash clothes when I'm there.
