We watched “Tangled: the Musical“ last night!

We enjoyed it so much. My DH, who’s not the DCL fan that I am, said it made him appreciate the quality of DCL entertainment. It always was a hit with us. In the movie you don’t get the true effect of the lanterns coming through the theater. Boy, it really made us nostalgic!

When we first saw the Tangled show onboard it literally brought tears to my eyes during the lantern part. I thought it was so beautiful how they carried the lanterns up through the audience. We have virtually watched it twice with my granddaughter who is almost 5...she loved the show onboard and loved watching it on TV.

We were supposed to be on the Magic right now. We watched it as a family last night. I hope we can see it in person someday.

I watched the broadcast of Tangled: The Musical yesterday. WOW, what a great production. We have only been on the Magic once, way back, before Tangled. But we have seen Frozen (Wonder) and Beauty and the Beast (Dream) on our last voyages. Disney really knows how to put on a Broadway production on a ship. The special effects and staging are amazing.

My wife sent the YouTube link to one of her coworkers who cruises on Royal Caribbean and she told my wife after watching it that we would be disappointed sailing on another cruise line just from that one production of Tangled.

We watched it too! We haven't been on the magic yet but definitely need to. We are big Tangled fans in this house.

I was commenting to my wife while we were watching about the high quality of the production and cast members of all the Disney productions. Even though we have seen all the shows numerous times they still amaze me.

Tangled is my favorite of all the Disney shows. The last time we saw it, they had a guest performer from Broadway play mother gothel and she was amazing.

We recognized several of the cast from 1) this show a few years a go and 2) from other cruises on the Magic where they were part of the entertainment staff in years past.
