Hey Everyone,
We used the infamous code to book for December, but just decided last week that we wanted to change it to the end of May. The pin code transferred fine, except that the only resort available with the code is CSR. We had our hearts set on POP again for the sake of our children. Do you know if POP has many cancellations closer to the 45 day mark? Any advice? Anyone LOVE CSR enough to get me excited about it? I think my only reservation is that we are bringing our 2 & 4 year old, and it doesn't seem very kid friendly...Thanks y'all! We aren't in our room enough for me to be TOO upset ~ We are going to Disney which is exciting enough ~ but I still want to feel 100% excited!

same thing here....We have ASmo booked( with the 40% code) for this fall and I would love a standard room at POP but none are available.

I will keep on calling a couple of times a week but I'm afraid that we may be out of luck. There are a limited amount of rooms alloted for certain discounts and if there are indeed cancellations, I hear the rooms return to regular inventory.

No harm in trying to call every now and then though!

We LOVE CSR!!!!!!!
Hope you will too.
I think it is a lot more kid friendly than people think.
I think with the 2 little ones you will appreciate the extra room of a moderate.
And you will have the option to use the quiet pool.... sometimes the bigger pools get too crowded.
As for the buses..... Pop would be a lot more crowded.... CSR are typically not as crowded.
Seriously.... you will not be disappointed!!!
Keep the ressie at CSR.:thumbsup2

!
I always thought this also, but found it was untrue. I talked to a super. about this and asked straight out if the dicounted rooms go back to rack rate, she said NO they will go back as a discounted room!

We stayed there last August and it was my first choice for this August but my dates were not available (using the code) so we went with POR. CSR and POR are tied for my favorite mod and I have stayed at all the mods now. The pool area is great! Hope you have a great trip.:goodvibes

That's great news WDWvillain!

I guess I'll keep on trying. I really want to stay at the POP. We really had such a great time last week, I would love to return again this Fall.

If not, no biggie, we will have as good a time at Asmo.

We did Pop last year and this year tried CSR. I have DD4 and DS2 and they loved it! The pool/playground area is fantastic!

I just returned in Feb from a quick trip with the kids. We stayed at POP and CSR. We all agreed that we would do POP again for a quick night here or there, but we absolutely fell in love with CSR. (Mind you, we've been to each moderate now, AKL, BWV, CR, ASMo, Fort Wilderness cabins too!)

At POP (we were in 50's building), things just felt more closed in. We loved the spacious (not too much for us as we had Cabana room), relaxed feel at CSR. My kids are 13, 12, 8, and 3. We absolutely loved the pool area although for your littles, the fountain area at POP might be more fun. LOVED the food. My littles loved the fountain in the middle of the restaurant and there's an area where you sit and watch as they prepare the food. That would have been really neat!

I felt much more comfortable (not crowded) on the busses.

My children LOVED the hammocks on the beach, but you littles might just enjoy playing there if you bring sand toys! We really enjoyed the animals too...bunnies, geckos, birds, etc.

Overall, CSR is the one the children can't wait to return to. :thumbsup2

Wow - These are such helpful comments.

I just booked 40% off at CSR - had wanted POP.

Now that I read what you all are saying, maybe we'll just stay with CSR.

What location would you put in as a preference at CSR?

I was thinking Cabanas would be best because they are closest to the food court and proximity to food court in the morning is a good thing.

Any other suggestions?

(BTW- my daughters are 8 and 10)

Thanks!!!

Leah
