We used third party VIP tour services. Here is the report.

So I live in Colorado. Given the time difference, I wasn’t up for getting up at 3:30am to snatch dining reservations. Plus I needed help with ROR virtual queue (it was before they dropped it). It was just too much stress so I hired the job out to a tour company and they did fantastic job getting me Orgas Cantina, Be my guest etc. On the day of HS visit, they showed up with one guide and one legger (who runs around securing next ride). We literally was the first one in the park and first one boarded Rise of Resistance. They charge $200 an hour. I total paid 5 hours and they gave us a plan for the rest of the visits. For us it was worth it. It was the only stress free trip I took.
I heard Disney has its own true VIP tour but it’s like $700 an hour That’s insane!! Wonder if anyone has hired them and what do you think?

This sounds interesting. I'd like to know more about a third party tour! The Disney VIP Tours start at $425/hr and go up to 750, minimum of 7 hrs so starts at $2975 total and up.

Probably scamming the system with a DAS (disability access service) pass (hence the reference to a "runner" who would go to each ride--which is how you get a DAS return time). Sad.
Not at all. The runner runs around to see which ride has shortest line. I learned from them that line length can change in mins. Once the runner finds a good ride , we will be notified. The guide knows all the shortcuts on the park. Slinging dog ride was 35 min when we started lining up but 5 mins later ppl rushed in and it was hour long very quickly. I don’t know what DAS is. Never heard of it.

Let me get this straight, you pay $200 an hour to wait in the standby line, not the lightning lane? And someone physically goes to each ride to check posted wait times when they could just open the app and see every posted wait time in the park? I had thought this company was scamming Disney to let clients skip lines like so many third party “VIP” tours have done in the padt… but now I’m just confused.

HA no, the real value for me is someone did all dining reservation and planning for us. You tell them what your wish list is and they make it happen. We went several month ago with no lighting lane. Virtual queue for ROTR was at its worst. If you didn’t get it at 7:01, you were out. If your phone signal lag you were out. That was too much stress. They have super device and they never missed. It’s like if you don’t lag in Call of Duty you would win over those with slower connections . To me it was the stress free element and i split $1000 bill with another family. We had the best trip. And I went so many times before that. I thought I knew all the tricks but I definitely got a few more in my bag now. Will I do that again? Not with Disney’s Genie+ and lightning lane.

Well... you could have made it happen for free if you had the app on your phone. They did nothing you couldn't have done yourself. So $1000 for that service -did they buy you lunch?

I used them for dining reservations and get us on ROTR virtual queue. I would pay $500 to guarantee this. (the other family paid half). Not to mention I didn’t have to get up at 3am to battle for reservations (west coast ppl here). For $500, it’s totally worth of a stress free trip. I hate checking phone, ran over and the wait time is no longer accurate cuz everyone else is doing the same. Have a real human stays ahead of the curve. That 5 min time made a world of difference. That was my 8th trip ? Was the only stress free trip.

If you have the money then fine. The negative feedback here relates to scammers, who in the past, used Disability Access and other methods to sell "Tours" to guests. It's not so much the fact a guest uses tour assistance, but rather the methods they use that you may not be aware of -which is frowned upon.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah I don’t spend money on lodging nor tickets. We pack our own food in the park so the money spent on “assistance” is a good trade off. Didn’t know ppl would do such thing to scam the disabled visitors. Shame Shame!

I'm curious about the "super device". Would you have received a rebate if their device failed? I just don't see how a 3rd party vendor could have made that guarantee. Also sounds like with the new Genie+ and lightning lane, this vendor is no longer valuable?

HA it’s more like a super speed land line hooked up to an actual computer in the vendors office. And a 17 year olds kid fast fingering and beating everyone else by a few milliseconds. When Disney changed rule that you didn’t need to be in the park physically to obtain boarding group, that changed everything. The first time when I competed for a boarding group in Jan 2020 before the world crashed down, I was able to secure group 96 at 7:02am. It was just too stressful. I am a gamer and when i need serious kills and no lag, I will never rely on cellular or wifi. Hard cold physical ethernet cable with super speed.

But you are right, with the Genie+, they are gonna be in trouble. Although I would still pay them to secure reservations though. But not a grand obviously.
