With all the issues surrounding Covid and plans being changed and cancelled, we found a positive - we had extra points we were going to lose and decided to try the CC cabins for a couple nights, as the nights were available. Wow. An amazing place - beautiful, peaceful, and it did spoil us a bit! Not sure we'll be able to get back again, but we might try!
They are located along Bay Lake. I think there are approximately 20 cabins (I'd have to verify), half on one side of the dock and half on the other - all on the water.

I read that article. It makes me so excited for our December trip. We bought at Copper Creek direct and when they tacked on last years points we had enough for 8 nights this year. We probably won’t do it again for a long time.
Toured several DVC properties in July. LOVE the cabins. Own at the Grand Floridian but really liked the cabins. Hope to be lucky enough to get a reservation at seven months in the future.

We stayed in March because of an overabundance of COVID points...looks like we're racking up points again, so there may be another stay there in the future!
The only thing I do not like about them is that the boats can be blasting their horns late into the night. May be less of an issue right now since COVID, but pre-covid, those suckers would keep you up all bloody night. Some rooms in Wilderness lodge had the same issues.
I am also told (but do not have personal experience on this one) that they had bug problems - mostly around the Jacuzzi area. Or was that the Poly Cabins?
