We talk too much....

I agree. I  my Disney Visa.

1% cash back isn't that great of a payoff, but it's like having your own personal Disney savings account.

They do 6-12 months no interest ALL THE TIME too!:thumbsup2

Go with Cheri. She = Jedi Master.:rotfl2:

hmm...I thought I had sunglasses at first, and after I clicked "reply" it just came up as the Jedi Master. :confused3

I quoted b/c I was going to ask why I had sunglasses on. :rotfl:

I have one of those, but Dreams only accepts CC. I wanted to be able to just pay the rest for Disney. They aren't getting paid by me, unless they are going to tack stuff on at the end as a surprise here ya go thing. The final balance they have on my reservation is the same that the Disney website gave me. If she doesn't give me a satisfactory answer, I'm going to call Disney tonight and see if anything can be done.

Like I said, I don't see in my totals and stuff were she's making her money, but yes, I would like to be able to curse at the moment.

My parents have the Dis Visa. We had credit cards. Which is the reason we don't have them anymore... our credit isn't exactly um good or ever kinda good at the moment.

oh that stinks! :headache:

It does stink, but hey that's what we get for Buddy switching jobs and being out of work so much last year. :confused3

LOL - that was another post.

I responded to Ash and Carla independently in the post, and didn't want to leave you out, so I just gave you a "cool dude".:cool2:

oh.. I'm so confused now. (not really...I mean, I am, and I'm not. I mean, i don't know where my freaking head is right now. I think I'm losing it!)

Did you women actually get any work done today???:lmao:
what a beautiful voice you have...

isn't that EVERY DAY? :rolleyes1  :rotfl:
No, its just Joe every day.:rolleyes1
thanks girls :grouphug: This weekend helped SO much to keep my mind off of Coal, but now that I'm back it's SO sad being home and realizing he may never come back to us. :sad1: I need to stop all this talk about him b/c it's making me want to cry and I hate crying at work.
Okay, so lets talk about something else....hmmmm....do you know of any new Disney rumors? I haven't been to scream scape in a while.

I do have some interesting facts I got out of my new disney guide book though.

  • about 100 pairs of sun glasses are turned into Guest Relations at WDW a day!!
  • There are 11,000 parking spaces at MK

That's awesome! Hope you are able to get everything you want. Don't blame you for wanting to wait on the TV though. Those things are pretty expensive. But fun indeed :thumbsup2
Hmmm, Shane lost a pair of sunglasses on the safari in AK last January. I wonder if I can pick him some up at Guest Relations.:confused3
Too funny not to share!

  • Each costume was handtailored with period techniques.
  • The Lincoln figure is a simplified remake of an ambitious, though problematic, creation that debuted at the 1964 World's Fair. Whenever there was a spike in current, Disney's first Abe would flail its arms, hit itself repeatedly in the head and then slam down in its chair.
For real?? I laughed out loud when I read that.
We just can't afford to buy any pig furniture items at the moment. And probably not any time in the quite near future either. We have a pretty hefty note on our trailer since there is no land attached to it. Plus insurance for us on just one vehicle is astronomical right now.
What the hell is pig furniture???
:confused3
  • call dibs on the joystick so you can keep your vehicle aimed at the right targets
  • let your partner board first so you sit on the right, the side with two-thirds of the targets
  • as soon as your gun is activated, pull the trigger and hold it in for the entire ride. The gun will fire about once per second, and the flashing of its laser beam will help you track your aim
  • If the ride stops, keep your blaster fixed on a target. You'll rack up points in a hurry
  • aim only at targets with big payoffs: as you enter the first room, aim for the left arm of the left robot (each hit is 100,000points. As you pass the robot, turn your vehicle to the left and hit the other side of that same arm (25,000). As you leave the first room, turn your vehicle backwards and aim at the overhead claw of the other robot (100,000). As you enter Planet Z, aim at the top of the bottom targets of the large volcano (25,000). As soon as you see Zurg, hit the bottom target of his space scooter (100,000) by firing early and late; your gun can't aim low enough to hit it straight on. As you go into hyperspace, aim about six feet to either side of the top of the exit tunnel to hit a circle sitting in the middle of a rectangular plate (25,000). The maximum points possible is 999,999
Thanks, I needed that!!!

yes ::yes:: you should! I have such brilliant ideas...and I love when you call me on that. :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao:

"see" ya in an hour or so! always a pleasure *tipping my hat to you*
ke I said, I don't see in my totals and stuff were she's making her money, but ye
I"m back :goodvibes

Ashley, when you do decide to get a credit card, try for a Chase Disney Visa. I have one and it's really nice to earn the points. Maybe you could talk to Buddy about getting one and find some nice furniture and pay it off that way. You can probably get 0% interest for one year, and you could just make payments on it and try paying it off within that first year. Then you would not have to go through the rental company and worry about being scammed. And it'd also build up your credit. And you'd have new furniture of course! :thumbsup2

If you decide to get one, let me know and I'll give you my info for the referral :rolleyes1 ;)

But honestly, I do think that would be a good idea if y'all think you'd be approved for a cc. I just really hate to think of you going through that rental company if there's a better route to take to get furniture. Can you tell I just don't trust those people?

I would say I agree with this but I read above that you don't have good credit. Neither do chris and I and we cannot for the life of us get approved for a dis visa. Hate Chase :headache:

Hey girls - geez I'm away for a little while and you guys just chatter up a storm.:rotfl2:

Carla - those are some cool facts.:thumbsup2 I'm not going to show Mark those tips about BL either, so I can finally win!:lmao:

Hehe :)

Glad you enjoyed them. Yeah, I don't plan on showing Chris either

that's so weird that they won't take a check card. I've never heard of anywhere saying that they ONLY take a credit card! Even when they say "credit card info please" I give them my check card info and they take that being none the wiser.

:rotfl: Not really. My Dad was out of the office so I didn't really have much to do.

You might be able to :confused3 Not sure if they will honor it since it will have been more than a year by then.

me too!

You're welcome :thumbsup2

Actually I did. I had to. My boss has turned into a bear this week apparently. I humming the "take this job and shove it"song this morning.

And I meant "big" not "pig" furniture.

I hate Chase in general. That's who our loan is through and we used to have our checking/savings accounts there. OMG they were a headache.

I'll have to try and use my check card. Never thought of that.

Talked to the other travel agent. I might actually see if I can get moved to being her client. She apologized to me, saying she'd had a long morning. Then went into her travel agents accounts and pulled everything Disney had listed for my reservations and sent it to me. She apologized for me having to make my ADR's myself. She was very nice. :woohoo:

Our mortgage loan used to be through Chase. We hate them too!

yay!! Glad you finally found a decent TA!! Hope this one does a better job!! :goodvibes

You guys are quiet this morning....

Would y'all shun me if we couldn't do to Disney in September?

We got an estimate on how much our required porch is going to cost.... 700$ just for the wood for it. We're hoping his dad can get us a better deal. But that still leaves the awnng and it has to be done by August.... and we don't have anyone with the "hook-ups" for that. :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

It would be sad if y'all couldn't go but I'm sure everyone will understand. I hope you can get the porch built for cheaper. I'm guessing this is a requirement by the community? Another friend of ours went through that not long ago. None of those supplies are very cheap right now because of the economy being terrible and the gas prices being so high. Let us know what happens.
Anyone awake this morning this morning???? :sad1:

I'm awake, just been very busy with work today

I'm very sad, but we started talking about it. We really just need to concentrate on getting our house ducks in a row right now.... as much as we both REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to Disney. We really do need a vacation though, so we are talking with another about going up to TN for a week. For a week it's only 875 for a cabing for the 4 of us, split 2 ways aint soo shabby.

1. Are ya'll hiding from me over here? :sad1:

2. If you have been doing all your gabbing over here why in the heck are your trippies/pre-trippies still moving at warp speed? (You know who you are... *cough*Carla, Cheri, Sharky*cough.)

Hi Love! :flower3:

We're not hiding. This is our "We can be silly and not get fussed at thread"....although we're all still kinda silly on the other ones too!

Awww Ash - I just read your post.

I hope things change and that you are able to swing a trip to WDW, but if not, we understand.

1. We're not hiding from you, Love! We knew you'd find us.

2. Mine isn't, so you're safe there. And to answer your question...its because we have nothing better to do.
 I was so upset last night that I cried.

Don't worry about it. Disney will always be there. There's always next year.:thumbsup2
