sure! First of all, i bought a screw top plastic container from the dollar tree to put them in because I didn't want to leave them in the jar, but it's up to you/her.

We bought a pretty large thing of cherries from Sam's but I think that'd be pretty big. Although a small jar would go fast...so maybe 2 jars?

If it's a small jar, the rule is to leave about a 1/2 inch to an inch of cherry juice in there, and then pour enough liquor to cover the cherries. You can use rum or vodka (we used vanilla vodka but I didn't end up tasting the vanilla...they were still good though) and you let them soak for at least a week usually. There's nothing to it. That's it. And if you want to get really fancy, you buy some of those little cups they use at Wendy's (or "borrow" them from Wendy's ) and you could essentially serve the cherries like that like they do at bars.

Psst...I already have a bunch of "borrowed" wendy's ketchup cups at my house if you would want me to pack those.

ahhh that sounds super easy. I think I can "borrow" some of those cups but if you bring yours too then I'm sure we won't run out.

Rebecca has a sams club membership. How many jars do you think she should pick up to cover everyone at the party?

hmmm that's a good question.... I guess if we don't have enough it won't hurt anything. Just, some people might miss out. I don't want to over buy and then be stuck with a crap load of cherries
