I never put much faith into the YAGE posts. It seems they always come back under another user name. And it's usually hard to miss them.

Dear Disboards, we need to break up. Its not you. Its me.
Thank you for the many great tips of advice and knowledge through the years, however, my attitude makes it difficult for me to continue our relationship any longer

You've put into words exactly what I was thinking. I've been lurking a lot since the advent of FP+, and it's really as you describe. I don't mind it so much, since reading message board drama is one of my favorite ways to entertain myself. But I imagine it can be wearisome for someone who's legitimately just here to plan a happy trip. I don't think it's the individual threads, it's the volume of negativity and panic among long-time park goers.Whats that saying, "The guilty dog barks first and/or loudest"?
No surprise here that the usual suspects that are loudest about their dislike for all things FP+ all came together to bash the OP.
I would say a good 95% of the FP+ threads are just the same arguments rehashed over and over again. There is no new info on most of those threads where the same 10 or so people all show up to complain about FP+, speculate how disastrous it will be, minimize people's positive experiences with FP+, etc, etc, etc. These threads usually grow so large that people looking for real info/updates have to wade their way through pages of gloom and how incompetent Disney is.
As a side note, it is amazing that AK did not close down with their testing of FP+ only.... See, even the most experienced of park goers have faulty predictions. But of course when they are wrong, they will go back and edit previous posts and rationalize and try to show where they were still right.
I dont blame the OP for leaving but do not think they should have made this post. It is in the vein of a YAGE(yet another grand exit). This thread just opened the door for the malcontents to make this into another "why we hate FP+" thread.
I am also sure we will get some picture postings on this thread and maybe if we are lucky, someone will post another patent where they can draw biased conclusions from.... one can only dream
