We need more Photopass Photographers...

I really wish they'd station some more Photopass photograghers around the parks and with the characters. On my trip last week we managed to get 111 photos taken and that was with 4-6 taken from each photographer. I really would like to see the photographers assigned to every character, outside of every ride and placed at every "photo spot". Plus maybe one wandering around at every sit down dining spot.

I know I wanted some shots of us at the entrance to the MK. There was one photographer there but he was only taking shots of those who waited in the long line to great Mickey and Minnie. I wanted one of use with the train station and flowers in the background.

Oh well, maybe Disney will read this and have more around when I return in December.

I ordered the photo CD and can't wait to get it in the mail. It's a great idea and I'd love for it to be expanded.

Hey Bill - Next time you go to WDW, bring me along! I'll follow you around and take all the photos you want - I'll even put them on CDs and upload them to the internet for you! And don't think I'm kidding either...

I here you last Oct we got about 40 pics in a 2 1/2 day visit . So we were really ready to get a bunch in JUne with DM and DsF along as well.

Well we ended up with less then 50 and most of them were from the Visa M&G . Now we do mid-day breaks to the water parks every day but 50 is not enough to purchase the CD.

We are going with-in 2 months on our next 2 trips so maybe we will get enough to justify the CD.

I have never gotten more than 10 PP pictures taken!! Not through lack of trying either. I was amazed at how few of the characters had them, including Mickey at his Judges Tent. Perhaps I kept catching them at change over.

I hope that the Test Track ride photo being added to PP is an easy transition, as I would buy more ride photos if I didn't have to decide on the spot.

total agreement here. My wife was very frustrated that there weren't more photographers. We found a great place overlooking EE, but had to take the pic with our digital.

I completely agree. There are a ton of nice places in Epcot to take pics. I really wanted one in front of the fountain and on the last day in Epcot I flagged down some CMs to take one for me.

The whole characters not having one really frustrates me. I don't care if there are pp people outside of the rides but there should be one with every character.

Totally agree with you - we purposely didn't bring our cameras to the parks this time because we thought we could take advantage of Disney Photo Pass (we have SOOOOO many pictures on our own - we just like to have some of our group).

The 1st day we didn't see any at EPCOT until we went to Innovations for the Disney Chase Visa special photo pass area.

The few pictures we did get - we were really dissapointed. Especially in the above mentioned photo pass area. It's like they gave any kid a camera - I expected much better shots. We had 10 minutes of private time with characters (Mickey & Donald) in a private room with all kinds of backdrops. The pictures were terrible.

I got the impression, during our visit, that very few guests were taking advantage of the PhotoPass photographers as it was. Most of the guests I spoke with were just looking forward to them taking photos with their own personal cameras, and had no intention of purchasing the CD from Disney. While it seems like a great service, it just seemed to me that guests just weren't interested in it enough to be keeping it alive.

I also wish there were more Photopass photographers. We didn't see any in the World Showcase, and that's a place where I'd love to get family pictures taken. I'd also like to see photographers at the resorts.

We had 113 pictures taken in 7 days. I did buy the CD so we can get prints of the pictures.

When we were there in July/August we were practically tripping over PP photographers. They seemed to be everywhere.
Mabye it's a seasonal thing...

We're going in December, and I really hope by then that they add more attractions like TT to the Photopass. Another thing that would be great would be having Photopass photogs at the resorts with all of the Christmas decorations. It would be awesome getting pics of us in front of the GF gingerbread house and the carousel at BWI.

When we went the PP staff seemed to be huddled in groups. If they just broke up the chat groups there might be enough to go around and capture some decent shots. There were a whole bunch in certain areas and noone to be found when you wanted a shot. Break up the chat groups and the program would be more succesful.

There are tons of listing for Photopass photographers on the Disney Careers website, they are trying to hire a bunch more.

They were training some of them in front of the MK one day. I saw this group of Photopass Photographers in the perfect spot for a picture. I whipped out my card and went up to them only to find out that they were trainees and no one who could actually take a picture was there. I guess Disney is trying to have more around.

I also agree on them splitting up abit. I probably passed by 15 of them on my way up Main Street. They could have half as many and spread them out abit.
