I can't wait to stay there. I have never been so I can't do much towards starting one.

Except to say that if you are going for the first time and you don't already have the pizza party coupon, you should ask for one. (I have mine already) It is a refferal program and you get a Free pizza and sodas!

I agree haley!! HIFS is such a popular resort we need an HIFS FAQ thread stuck on top!!!!

curly :wave2:

Arcade and in room game system. At this time its Nintendo 64, but after the upgrades it’s gone be Playstation 2.
Oh, I almost forgot the free mini golf and pool side snack bar.

I agree! There are so many posts about HIFS here, it deserves a sticky!

Free shuttle to the parks

Kids check-in area with free goody bag!

Free family photograph.

Coupon for a free gift at check-in. Such as a coupon for popcorn and soda.

There is a small store and gift shop on site. If you need something, it's most likely there.

Awesome hotel!

Teresa

I totally agree - HIFS needs a sticky.

Who do you request the pizza party coupon from? I would love to have one.

I'll play:
Plenty of shelves in the bathroom.
Additional make-up area in the bedroom.
Two good blow dryers.
Plenty of towels for everyone and 4 towel rings + shelves.
Excellent water pressure in the shower.
Lots of storage area in the kitchenette.
Coffee-maker.
Fridge, micro, kitchen sink.
Bedtime stories via phone.
Convenience- very short walk from room to car, lobby, restaurant, pool, etc.
The sugar&spice spa- braids for little girls, temp. tattoos for boys
The friendliest staff.
Free full breakfast, free full breakfast, free full breakfast.
$3 refillable mugs.
Great entertainment club rates.
(Boy, I sure hope the rates or free breakfast don't change after the renovation!)

I have more free pizza, soda, garlic stick coupons if anyone needs them. Just pm me, or email me at momto3boys464@msn.com and I'll pop them in the mail to you. You must have your coupon before you make your reservation.

I must say, this was the absolutely best hotel we've (family of 5) ever stayed at!

Laurie

We stayed there last May and will be staying again this May. Didn't know about the bedtime stories. The video players were + with my family ( they have videos to rent) Several times we would put a video on at night for my DS4 , it settled him down so he could get to sleep. The only thing I can think of that they could improve on, would be more elevators. They were quite slow and 5 flights of stairs after a long day at Disney was tough. This year we are going to try to get a room on the 2nd floor.

I'II add:
Even numbered rooms face the family pool, odd numbered rooms will be a parking lot room or some face the pond with electrical floats(pretty)

Elevators are slow

Bingo and kareoke at night are fun and usually result in free tokens for arcade, free drinks, and free pizzas.

Club car restaurant has a half decent buffet and $25 certificates can be bought off e-bay for around $7 or $8-good deal!

Can any one tell me what cab fare from HIFS to MGM would be? Or HIFS to Pop Century? We are trying to figure out how to get everyone over to the parks the first day. DD and I will get up at 7am to get over to the MK for breakfast with the Princesses but the guys want to sleep in a bit...

 Why do you need to have pizza coupons before the reservation is made??? I leave in a week and would love some. Am I too late????

I did not mention my Pizza Hut coupon when I made my reservation. I presented it at Check-In and there were no questions and we got our free pizza party. If you want a coupon, email me and I will send one out right away. :)

I'm leaning towards this hotel for myself and my six kids when we
go to WDW. My only problem is the limited shuttle times....that brings me to a question. If you stay offsite, for example at HIFS, once you are at WDW...is the disney transportation free since you are not staying onsite? If not, how much is it? Cant seem to find this info anywhere!
Thanks
