We need a Bachelorette thread!

Loved her dress and I like some of the guys she kept around.

I can not stand the way she says y'all. It seemed so unnatural and fake to me. I don't think I've ever heard her say it and she said it like 5 times right before the rose ceremony. It was like nails on a chalk board to me! Did anyone else notice this or was it just me?

Yes, Andi saying y'all so many times is beginning to irritate me. Maybe we should make a drinking game out of how many times she says it.

It seems to be this season's most over-used word, like when Des said "amazing" all the time. Jimmy Kimmel actually made a video, one season, of how many times the word "amazing" was said. I think it was up to 42 times. :lmao:

I'm thinking Taoso or whatever his name is, is gay.

Why did she get rid of the fireman!? I thought he was cute. And more importantly why did she keep the personal trainer? and the opera singer?

What up with more opera singers? Think there will be a spinoff "Dating the Tenors"

Not sure what happened, but I heard a spoiler (that I won't repeat here) of WHEN he leaves.

I admit, it was pretty sad to see him on the date, telling Andi about the things he wanted to do in the future and about his family, and knowing he is no longer with us. Such a shame to lose this young man so soon.

I kept thinking the same thing. So sad to hear him talk about his plans that will never be. It really made me think about the things I don't do that I put off for later or someday. Just gives you pause.

Is it me or is anyone else's gaydar going off when Craig was on screen? Especially the way he reacted to stripping next to Josh?????

Him and mine was also pinging on the personal trainer.

Craig was a drunken fool, but his song was pretty funny.
Chris the farmer seems like a sweet guy. I think he'll be around awhile but I don't think she'll pick him.
Why didn't they show Brett more? I mean, he did the SPLITS! Yowsah!!
Which fireman was giving Chris Harrison the lap dance? lol :rotfl2:

Don't "ya'll" wonder how she can remember all their names at the rose ceremony??? :confused3 I kept looking at the plate the roses were on to see if the names were there or on the rose, but nothing. I can barely remember people that I meet daily, let along 25 guys in one night...:scared1: :rolleyes2

I don't think this is a spoiler. This information has been out there for years. Rose ceremonies (particularly in the early weeks) can take HOURS. She comes out, says two or three names, goes back, gets a few more, and so on. It's edited to make it appear that it takes about 5 minutes, but in reality it takes WAY longer. Many former contestants (on both sides of the ceremony) have confirmed this. Between the cocktail party and the rose ceremony, these can last into the wee hours of the morning (as in 4 or 5 am....sometimes, you can see the sun rising during the interviews with the "rejected" contestants).

My son was in the room and even though he HATES this show he looked up when this guy was going off about Josh. He just shook his head and confirmed that that is something MEN do NOT say!:lmao:

How y'all doing? Did y'all enjoy tonight? I can't wait to see y'all...

We'll be BLOTTO'ed by the end of the night!

I found this when I was wondering the same thing a few years back:

Q: How does the Bachelor/Bachelorette remember all of the contestants’ names at the rose ceremonies?

A: According to Ali Fedotowsky, the Bachelor or Bachelorette gets some help from the production team when it comes to making sure they say the right name.

“Throughout the night a producer is never far from your side and constantly reminds you about everyone’s name. She (the producer) has flash cards with the pictures and names of every contestant. It is hard to remember everyone, even with the flash cards. It’s all so overwhelming. the Bachelor/ette goes into the rose ceremony room and says a few names at a time and then leaves to get the next few names,” she wrote on her E! Online blog.

“Everyone’s nervous at their first rose ceremony, so we make it real easy for them, and we break [shooting] up into three to five people at a time,” Chris Harrison said in a 2009 interview with E! Online. Then we’ll stop, just to make sure we don’t run into any mistakes. We don’t want a [microphone] in his ear, we don’t want cue cards, we want it as natural as possible.”

In the early seasons, the Bachelors/Bachelorettes didn’t have this helping hand. Every ‘Bachelor’ fan remembers the shocking rose ceremony in which ‘Bachelor’ Jesse Palmer accidentally said the wrong name of a girl. (I looked for the clip of that, but it’s strangely nowhere to be found!)

That certainly makes a lot more sense. It's all so scripted I should have assumed that it happened like that...:lmao:

Wow! What a coincidence! Group date where they had to strip down? Even though they weren't comfortable with it? And then afterwards one got totally wasted and got the boot?

Someone needs to remind the script writers that is the exact same storyline they did LAST SEASON!!!

I don't even hear the "y'all"s, since I am a southern gal and everyone says that word all the time around here.

The thing she says that bugs me is "staaaap it!" every time one of the guys says something either funny, complimentary, or interesting. Stop it, Andi. :rolleyes1

I don't either, I honestly haven't even noticed her saying it at all. I'll try to listen for it next week.

Yes, I think "Stop! Stop! Stop it!" is going to be Andi's "Es okay." LOL

Was I the only one hoping the old couple at the track's answer to "how did you meet?" would be "Oh, he was the best lap dancer at a group strip show on a reality TV dating show?" ;)

Another thing she says a lot is, "with that being said..." :crazy2:

Hours? No wonder the last few people to receive a rose have crazy, pained expressions on their faces......they just want to sit down. :lmao:
