We must be mad!

So glad to have you rachel09985! :) I can't wait to go read your dining reports...one of my favorite parts of Disney, of course!!!

Welcome Turbanator....love your bears video in your signature!

MAGIC MONDAY - AFTERNOON

After lunch, we headed over to use our fastpasses on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain.

Jack woke up from his nap while we waited for the big kids to ride. He immediately spotted Jessie so we hopped in line. Toy Story is his favorite thing in the world so Jessie was a must!!!

We left Frontierland and headed towards Adventureland. Our first ride was Pirates of the Caribbean.

And our final ride of the day was the Flying Carpets of Aladdin.

Nichole and I had both been up all night and the kids most of the night so by this time we were ready to head back to the room, unpack, grab some dinner, and get a good nights sleep.

We stopped on Main Street and caught the flag ceremony. Always so neat but we rarely seem to catch it at the right time.

MAGIC MONDAY - EVENING & OUR ROOM

While we were out enjoying the magical day, we got a text stating our room was ready with the room number. We were in the Niue building. It's a very small 2 story building just outside the doors of the Great Ceremonial House. It is a fabulous location if you want to be close to dining, pools and transportation. I had requested a first floor room because of the stroller and we received that. We actually even had a view of the volcano pool. We were very, very happy there!

Our view. The lights right in the middle are for Captain Cook's:

We dropped off our bags and unpacked quickly. This is another advantage to ziploc bag packing...unpacking is a breeze...just toss the ziplocs in a drawer! :o) We then headed to Captain Cook’s for dinner.

I had the Aloha Pork Sandwich (which I had been craving since our last trip ):

And an Apple Turnover for dessert:

Nichole and Hayley had burgers & fries:

The kids all had nuggets with fries and chocolate chip cookies.

The kids were dying to take a little swim so we swam for about 30 minutes and enjoyed a bit of the movie on the beach.

We were all exhausted and ready for bed for once….and all had a very good night’s sleep. There is nothing like Disney dreaming at Disney World! :lovestruc

UP NEXT: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th MAIN STREET & FANTASYLANDhttp://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=51137016&postcount=24

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th

Today we are headed back to Magic Kingdom. Based on crowd predictions this made sense and we knew we wanted to see the Opening Show and didn't make it in time on our arrival. I got up at 6 and hit the shower, Nichole followed then Hayley. We made the kids bath the night before so we could get out the door a bit quicker.

The driver of the firetruck was named Jack and made a big deal out of my Jack and him having the same name. He let him try out his magic sword that only works for people named Jack! :)

FANTASYLAND

Our first ride was Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid

And then stopped to get pics and autographs with Ariel.

Next was Dumbo

Followed by Barnstormer

I willingly volunteered to sit out the Teacups so I could take pics. That is the only ride in all of Disney I do not ride. Just don't like the spinning for some reason!

UP NEXT: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH - TOMORROWLAND & CRYSTAL PALACE

LUNCH AT CRYSTAL PALACE

Time to hop on over to Epcot. We stopped on Main Street for a couple pics and to update our Photo Pass.

Kids patiently and happily waiting for us! :rotfl:

What a fun trip report! All of the kids are so cute - loved the shirts and esp loved the pic of little Jack looking at the CM with the balloons!

Awwww thanks so much Heaven2DC!!! Looks like you must be fairly close to DL. And if you get to travel with those in your signature line - lucky you!!! :lovestruc I love seeing multi-generation trips!!! I hope to make it there next spring. I've never been but my Dad and two older (step) sisters used to go all the time. We are planning a sisters trip down my Dad's Memory Lane in honor of him and in celebration of my sister's 50th birthday. We went to WDW for my oldest sister's 50th a couple years ago, planning DL for this sister...maybe we should do DCL for my 40th?

Hope you get to take a trip to DL! You would have lots of fun :)

I moved here almost 2 years ago and finally got my SoCal Annual Pass last summer but only have been there 4 times.....work and life just get in the way sometimes :rotfl2: I thought for certain I'd visit at least once a month. My oldest 2 kids and all of my grandkids live on the East coast and haven't visited DL yet (well my oldest were really small on our only visit back in 1983). Hopefully sometime this year they can come visit me and I'll take them to DL - we are tentatively planning a reunion trip to WDW in early 2015.
