We met the Movers and I DIDNT HAVE MY CAMERA!!

[Eli's 1st trip]

We live in New Orleans, and yesterday the Imagination Movers played at Jazzfest! They put on a terrific show. Yesterday was great...Eli was SUCH a trooper! We were out at Jazzfest from 10 am until 5pm yesterday and he was great all day long....They were the 1st act on the stage so that was the best...we walked into the gate and walked straight to their stage....there were a lot of other people there but we were pretty close to the stage so i was very excited that he would be be able to see them....I didnt know how he would react...he was unsure about what was going on at first b/c they have huge screens showing whats going on on the stage and then he could see them on the stage so he didnt know what to look at...i seriously almost cried it was so sweet...he was speechless...then he just started laughing and couldnt stop...he just kept saying "no no's, no no's no no's" Thats what he calls them. I have lots of pics that I am about to post...but here's the story of how we met them...they said on the stage as they ended that they would be siging autographs for an hour after the show...well he fell asleep almost immediately after it was over...so we werent going to stand in the line that was from here to the North Pole...so we went to the next stage to listen to more music...well about an hour later my friend Kim and I went to get some food and there were still people in line and they were still signing autographs...the line was still 100 people long probably...we got our food...ate it and then 45 minutes later when eli woke up we went for a walk to get a snowball...well they were still there...well he saw them and that was it...he was screaming...No No's No No's....so I walked over there...and a security guy tells me they just stopped the line and they wouldnt be signing anything else...I said it was no big deal I didnt have anything anyway..he just wanted to look at them...well right after that Smitty says hey little buddy to eli and he was all over...he ran up to them and gave them all high fives...Yall it was the cutest thing ever...and I DIDNT HAVE MY CAMERA!! We were just supposed to go and get a snowball...Dammit!! But it is seriously one of the best memories..ever...when we left...he kept saying Bye No No's Bye ...sooo adorable!!
