How would you go about doing changing resorts?

We are planning on doing 3 days at POP and 3 days a BC, my hopes is to do Epcot the day we move. Can we just leave our suitcases at POP and they will move it for us? Or should we get a taxi to take us over in the morning? That way we could check in and leave our suitcases there and walk to Epcot

I would like to leave it at POP and go to Epcot.

You can do it either way. If you leave your bags at Pop's luggage services, they will transfer them to your new hotel. But they won't guarantee their arrival for several hours. So take a backpack or other bag with you with everything you will need for your park day. Then you can check in at the BC when you are ready, later in the day.

They will transport your bags. Take them down to Bell Services. They will provide tags so they know where they are going. They will not bring them to your room until someone is there.

We did WL to POP last stay and this time my sister and I are doing POP to SSR. I found it to be so easy. We actually took a taxi over, but the luggage transfer will happen around 4pm if you do it that way. I really loved checking out of one resort and knowing I would be checking into another I really think split stays can be addicting

I prefer the taxi, check in early and leave luggage with bell service. Then I can be at the park for Rope Drop! I pack up the night before.

Not sure how Pop bell service works, but we've stayed at mods & deluxe, and we've been able to phone Bell Service from our room, and they will come and pick up our luggage to take to lobby. Much easier then trying to lug all the luggage to the lobby yourself.

We had another question, we are now looking at doing 1 night at POP and 4 nights at BC, is it possible to have our ME luggage taken straight to BC instead of messing with it for one night?

We are actually booking a trip for next year and we are kicking around the idea of staying at CR and then going to POR. I had no idea they did this. Is there any other benefits to a split stay that I should know about. We normally stay at POR as that is our favorite resort.

Yes, you will need to make the first nights deposit for each reservation. If you are staying at 2 resorts, that is 2 deposits

No. DME will only bring luggage to the resort you check into initially.
