We Made It To The Beach Club-for my Chicago Area Disers

Our trip this summer was one of my favorite trips to Disney. I don't think any trip will ever top the first one DH and I did with our kids for their first time. We had a beautiful Savannah View room at the AKL and enjoyed all the "firsts" with the kids. Back then they were really into the characters and getting autographs. Things moved a little slower then, too.
It's different now. Faster pace, kids are into riding the rides more than checking out the characters and watching parades and fireworks. But it's still Disney and, for me, that is always where my heart lies.
The Beach Club is an ideal location, and we loved the resort/pool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. And I loved the smell in the Beach Club Lobby. Thank you to TeenaS for filling me in on the Green Clover and Aloe scent. Now I can enjoy a little of the Beach Club from my own living room.
I missed a food court, however. Cape May was nice, but pricey for kids that don't eat much. Hurricane Hannahs does not have enough options to pick from, but it's OK for a quick bite to eat when you are hungry at lunch. Beaches and Cream is awesome for dessert!! Funny, we never even went over to the Yacht Club side of our resort. Reason to return, right?!

Hi! Just wondering how you are enjoying your scented air freshener system? Would you recommend it? Also, any additional WDW planning in the works? I'd love to get another trip going....soon, too! We'll see! Gotta admit the location of the BC was awesome!

We love the air freshener system. It is just now starting to lose the scent-so it lasted a month. The kids (especially DS) loved to plug it in and smell the BC!
Our next trip will probably be next fall. DD ballet group usually goes every other year, so Fall 2009 is our next time for that. It's not as much fun as taking a trip on your own, but we usually plan a few extra days either before or after the group to enjoy ourselves.
