No car.
Yes, can buy onsite in shop.
Any way to purchase wine (and have it delivered) in a cheaper way?

Thanks!

The grocery delivery services (WeGoShop, GardenGrocer) will deliver wine and beer. You may need to specificaly request what you are looking for, but they can do it. You might also try the Gourmet shop at DD (next to the Earl of Sandwich) as they have a little better selection and prices are also a little better than the resort stores. If you are there during F&W you can also go to the wine shop and find a wonderful selection of all sorts of wines.

On the rare occasions we have had a rental car while at WDW, we have gone out and purchased wines locally and left them in our Owner's Locker. We have stored a case of wine that way - waiting until our next trip! :) (It's a good thing OL has carts to use when necessary! ;) )

Salud! :)

I have found that prices for the wines in general are about twice of that in stores, are there corkage fees at the restaurants?

Marge at wegoshop, bought the piesporter that I requested with no problem. She even had to go to a different store to get it.

some of the wines in EPCOT are reasonably priced... for instance I love Rosa Regale Champagne in Italy (the red one that tastes like fresh berries) Here at our wine store its $19.99 the last time we were in EPCOT - it was the same price!! (I had shipped a bottle thinking it would have a mark up) SO then I started looking around and pricing wines!

I do agree to order a bottle at a TS it is a good double or triple the price ($30 +++) I've noticed that the servers get a neat 4 glasses of wine per bottle - so I saw no advantage in buying a bottle. (I was tempted to try the wine and dine - but couldnt figure out the advantage there either)

I buy it in EPCOT and walk it back to BCV - they will send it to the front gate - they always ask...

Great question...I don't know the answer but would have to assume yes. You could call one of the signature restaurants directly and ask.
The grocery stores around have the usual selection. Some of the signature restaurants however have regional wines that are interesting to try with the food (Artist Point comes to mind with their Pacific Northwest menu and wines). Also at AP they will let you taste any wine before ordering a bottle.

Last 2 trips we packed our wine in ziplocks then in bubble wrap then in a sealed box and checked them with our luggage. We declared what they were at the airport, airline actually told me how to pack them. Both were delivered to our room. Once on cruise and once at the park. We love wine too!!!!

I forgot you must also line your box with a large trash bag too. So everything is real spill proof.
