We Love Dcl!!!!!

Just back from our "virgin" trip to WDW and on DCL and I have to tell you we LOVED every minute of it!!! So much so that we re-booked for a 7 night Eastern in late 2006.

DCL is definately the best thing afloat. Our servers and esp. our room steward (Jose) couldn't have been nicer. The kids club CMs are worth their weight in gold. DS was a bit slow to start on the kids club, but ended up loving it (he just turned 3 the day before the cruise so was probably one of the youngest in the club, but the staff were just great with hearing our concerns and looking out for him).

I have to go for now, but will try and write some sort of report on our experience. Thanks to all on the boards who's helpful hints made our trip such a success and a big HI to the DISers we met on board.

Sorry you didn't make the dis met on Sunday. I think we saw you in line to disembark. At least we saw a baby that looks like the one on your signature line.

It seemed like the time just flew, and before you knew it I had missed the DIS meet! We did run into a few DISers making Palo ressies, but other than that there was so much to do that we really didn't have too much time to meet anyone! I think for our next cruise I would like to join the "whose going" thread and maybe find table-mates that way. Our table-mates were nice, but really different from us and that made the conversation a bit difficult, that and the fact that DS was so tired by dinner time that all he wanted to do was eat the pats of butter ( ) and trying to keep him close to a level of "acceptible" behaviour took all of our effort. I think the next time around, with him being almost 5, things will be a bit easier in that regard (maybe?!?)
