I cannot believe everything that has been happening in the past 5 weeks for us, DD7 shattered her elbow and had surgery, then my girls got the flu, then Sunday in the early a.m. I woke up with a fever and cough. Got up Sunday morning just feeling horribly light-headed. Went downstairs to get some cereal and while holding my bowl completely passed out onto my TILE floor right in front of my girls (DH was camping). Woke up to hear DD7 asking if I was ok.
So apparently (according to DD) I tried to get up and passed out again. Somehow I made it to the couch, where I bled on it because I had cut myself in a couple of places from the broken cereal bowl. Luckily my cousin lives 5 minutes away so she came over and took me to the ER. I had a huge bump on my head from hitting the tile. So they did an EKG, CAT Scan, blood work, etc. and everything seems to be fine. Woke up this morning with a pretty bruised up elbow (must have fallen on it), stiff neck and still a little feverish.
HOPING that in the next 4 days I feel better for the trip we have been looking forward to forever....

I hope you continue to get better! Isn't it just the way it goes that your dh was out of town?! Mine was out of town last weekend when the toilet overflowed and I didn't discover it until it had flooded the bathroom & hallway.

Elbow, flu and knock on the head

My neck feels great (look out CA Screamin', here I come!).
She broke her left elbow and of course she is left handed (we are a lefty family). She can write with her right hand though now.
