Thanks everyone. I got my cool purple cast today, and the dr said I will most likely be able to get a boot for my trip! So I will have a kaht and a boot!

Also, Jack and I have an extra trip to plan to use our Gaylord Palm stay!!!

Now, I just have to figure out how to navigate the steps in and out of my house. Thank god I live on a dead end street and not many people will see my big ole butt crawling in and out of my house!

Oi! had both ankles fixed after lots of sprains. 6 weeks of a cast and 4 of a walking boot. i know a good orthopedic ankle specialist in Waltham oh my wish you luck! i almost fell putting out the trash this morning after the rain froze!

Ouch Kim!! but look at it this way.....you'll be in the most Magical place so your ankle will be just fine! Sorry to hear your bad news, but try and enjoy your trip....hopefully it'll heal fast! Laurie

I've never had a broken anything but I have had surgery on my Ankle ( an 8 inch tumor growing up my ligament(sp?)) anyway crutches suck watch out for puddles!!! your cruch will act as a suction cup and you will all of a sudden be missing one!!! just try and stay optimistic that always makes it easier!!
