We just got engaged!

We picked out the ring last weekend, and I think it was burning a hole in (now) DF's pocket!

We went to WCC last night for our July 4 dinner, then over to the Polynesian to watch the fireworks. It was very crowded - we're definitely not the only ones who like the view from there. We sat on the beach during the fireworks, and then walked over to Sunset Pointe, and that's where he asked me. It wasn't too surprising, since we knew it would happen sometime, but he had lead me to believe that it would be in the fall (though I figured it might be doing the "burning a hole in the pocket" thing, like I said before!).

So eventually I'll be a Disney bride, and for now I'm a Disney fiancee . We're looking at an Intimate wedding perhaps in Oct 2006 (I need to finish school and we need to get ourselves established), at the Polynesian - it's our favorite resort.

We also picked out my ring together. It was in the summer, and we were planning on getting engaged around Christmastime. Well 3 weeks later the ring was in - 2 days later we were engaged It's funny how plans can change after actually *having* the ring in hand!!!

I had a little bit of a tough time telling my family (that whole "growing up" thing! I'm only 22. Plus my mom's not here to share it), but I got through it. I think they're happy we're waiting until I'm done with school and have a job.


Uhhhh...hehe...for "intimate," luckily my remaining family is very small and we can accomodate our immediate families and closest friends. Don't think all of my DIS friends can be there
