The best thing about digital cable is that I got MLB Extra Innings, now I can watch baseball ALL THE TIME!!

HBO is the best channel, with Sex & The City, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Autopsy - great great shows.

At one point I have the super duper package, every single channel they offered. Expensive!!!

This is our second season to have it. My SO is originally from the Seattle area and is a big Mariners fan. She was excited to find out she would be able to watch the Mariners semi-regularly while living in Houston.

DITTO. I guess that's what happens when you get the basic channels, there is nothing on and you get to pay $50.00 a month

TV/cable has become such a vast waste land of nothing. Now you are getting more nothing for more money. Becka that doesn't seem very fair to me.

Gotta love digital cable. We got the whole works too, movie channels and all that jazz. 500 channels of NOTHING. My DW does love the Soap Opera Channel. Never has to miss an Episode of All My Children now. I enjoy the Music Choice channels and the Game Show Network.

Since I don't usually watch anything but movies it works out great for me. But I could do without all the "other" stuff.

I had it for 3 months when they had a promotion for $5 a month. Then the price went up to an additional $15 more for the digital portion, I cancelled and I don't regret it because they didn't offer that much more. Now I have just basic ( 80 channels and nothing to watch ) and my cable internet for $68 a month.
When I had satelite, it was twice as much and I could only have one TV and one computer hooked up. Now I have 4 tv's and 3 computers.

In our town, Adelphia's digital cable service costs the same as traditional (analog) cable. But I have to agree with your complaint. Is 500 channels of nothing better than 50?

We also had Adelphia digital cable. They promised "digital picture and sound", but while the signal came into the box as digital, the box only offered analog outputs to the TV. Now, I ask you, what's the point of that? I emailed Adelphia about it twice, but no one was ever able to give me an answer. Digital cable that has to turn analog to get to my digital TV???

We're now back to analog cable and doing just fine with it. In fact, I think the picture looks much better than the digital cable ever did!

bbc america! its the best station! love hbo for its original programming, too. oooh, and the game show network. love watching the old match games from time to time. and don't forget VH1 classics, and mtv2. hey, actual music from a music station!
