We returned yesterday from Disneyland and Sea World. What an adventure! We had a fabulous day in Disneyland on Thursday. The crowds were not a problem since I knew how to work the fast pass system. But the crowds were out of control on Friday evening! You could not even walk without getting bumped in every which way. It was hard to keep up with our group of 7. It left a very negative experience on our last day. EVERYONE around us in the crowd was complaining. Our group of 7 were trying not to complain and keep the Disney spirit. But it was hard. One lady screamed at me and made quite a scene because she swore I ran into her child in a stroller. (It was actually a lady 2 in front of me) She cussed at me and yelled loudly. I initially told the mom it wasn't me, and I was sorry her child was bumped. She insisted it was me and that is when she started yelling. It is a much longer story but I will discuss it in my trip report. (the child was fine, the lady only bumped the wheel with her foot)

My overall thoughts are positive though. California Adventures was never crowded.

Yes, Indiana Jones was open. It was quite a surprise since I had read on here that it was closed early for refurb. It did close several times during Thurs. and Friday, but they would get it up and running again.

No, Tinker Bell did not fly at the Fireworks show. So sad. And the weather was perfect. So I'm not sure why she isn't flying as much lately. I had read that report on here before going.

Finding Nemo is awesome. We were one of the first subs out on Friday, so we had no wait. It was more entertaining than I thought. It is amazing what they can do on these new rides. There were always long lines for this ride unless you were the first there in the morning. Even late at night the line was LONG!

I didn't use Ridemax. I researched it before going. But this is my 5th? trip to Disney properties and I'm learning the system on my own. Read hydroguys tips. It helps a lot.

We didn't have dining ressies anywhere. Only ate quickly. Our family fell in love with the Chimichangas. No other food will we rave about.

I looked for Albort and never saw him!

We stayed at HoJos and liked it. A bit of a hike but not too bad. We had a little trouble with management on our exit. I will discuss in trip report.

More in trip report. If you have any questions let me know.

Sounds great! I can't wait to read your trip report, I love those!
Is it up yet??

Good thing you left before today. The winds were terrible, the dust and smoke in the air was so bad you couldn't take your sunglasses off, and a tree blew down at La Brea Bakery at DTD. Luckily no one was hurt. There is still gritty sand in my mouth and I really need to go take a shower! Even with the winds, DL was packed. CA on the other hand was pretty empty.

Oh my goodness! What a day for you! We had such great weather. I'm glad no one was hurt due to the tree. I figured Disneyland would be packed this weekend. Because Friday night was such a sardine nightmare!

Yes, the weather was great last week. Warm, but not too hot and the skies were blue. Today brown!

Yeah the wind was crazy! It was fun actually. We were waiting in line today for the train in Tomorrow Land so that we could get over to NOS and we waited and waited and waited and finally someone in line called DL to ask if the train was going to be coming. It wasn't. The high winds caused them to have to stop. There were some very irritated people because no one was working at that station so no one could know what was going on. The monorail was closed too because a piece of a tree was on the track.

The crowds were just as bad as spring break. Totally sucked but oh well. Great thing about having AP's. We can go back again.

Albort- Were you working Thurs. and Friday? You must lurk behind the palm trees!

I'm glad you all agree with the crazy crowd on Friday! I was hoping that wasn't normal for October. What a mess!
