We just got back from a wonderful trip to CBR

What a vacation we had...we stayed in Trinadad North, room 3303. I had requested Martinique but they were booked. They did honor my request to be near the bus stop...what a nice feeling at the end of a busy day at the parks to be only a few steps away from the bus.

The service was great, Magical Express worked out perfectly. The Dining plan was AWESOME!!!!! The resort was beautiful, room was very clean. CM's were very nice. My husband and 2 boys (ages 9 and 7) LOVED the main pool. We were a little disapointed in the hot tub. Very small and seemed like the jets were not really on when we were in it. The only other complaint was the shower. We felt like the water pressure was very low.

Old Port Royal was great...the food was prety good. We always found something we would eat. The grab and go had a good variety of pastries, muffins, sandwiches...things like that. My boys Loved the arcade.

We went on the beach, relaxed in a hammock or on the lounge chairs. A duck came right up to me...really cute!

This resort was beauitful...we felt like we could have stayed at just the resort without going to the parks. We all had a wonderful time. I am sad to be home.

Glad you had a great time! CBR is my favorite moderate resort. I agree about the hot tub...I think they need to add a hot tub to the resort. The ducks are so friendly there...I love feeding them by OPR.

Yes they do...my kids had the chicken nuggets and fries in the pail and shovel. They thought it was more fries than chicken. They are 9 and 7 year old boys and they liked it but did not think it was that great. They did play with the pail and shovel on the beach one day. It was relaxing for us.

I'm always glad to find others who love CBR too! It seems like there are a lot of people who don't care for it out there. We stayed there in December, and wished we were there the whole time we were at Pop in January of this year. I can't wait until December when I can enjoy CBR again!

Thanks for posting while under the effects of Post Disney Depression. We're counting down for a end of July reunion with CBR. If you find a cure for PDD, please post the anidote. We'll need it in August.

Hello All,

I just returned from Disney too. I stayed at the CBR from May 13th to the 17th (then AKL till the 20th).

CBR is a great resort. While it is large, it is wonderful to look around the lake and see all of the different colored "islands". While unlike last year I was unluckly with the bus service because I had some bad waits, for the price, CBR is unbeatable IMHO.
