You're not alone. We waited until our oldest was 16. I wondered if at 45 we were way to old to buy in, but I'm so glad we did. We hope to be vacationing with our kids and their friends/spouses/kids....whoever, for a long time.
After several years in the making, we just closed on a resale at BWV. I can't believe it's true. I think most people would think we were really crazy as we waited until all our kids are teenagers. Guess I know what we'll be doing as the kids are away at college.
