Yeah! Last November we went to Disney for our first trip. At the airport on the way home, there was a Southwest booth set up and a salesperson getting you to sign up for Southwest Visa's. We got a certain number of free points just for signing up. We used most of our points to pay for airfare for all 6 of us for another trip THIS November. Yippee!

It was definately worth it.

I've been wondering about this SW thing. How long do you have to redeem your flights?

My mother and I did this for our trip to DLR last November. We both applied when it was 30,000 points and were able to get 7 RT flights for $700 (including the taxes and early bird check-in).

Not long after we did this, they increased the point incentive to 50,000 points and we were able to email Chase and get 20,000 points credited to each of our accounts.

We plan on using that 40,000 points and what ever extra we accumulate in the next couple of years to go to WDW.

I booked during a sale a few weeks ago & did two round trip flights to Vegas for 25,000 miles (give or take a hundred or so). Still have 25,000 miles left in my account which will get me at least 1.5 more trips!!!

We signed up last November and we have over 70,000 points now. It coast about $59,000 points for our upcoming Disney trip. Luckily, the cost is down and only cost (in dollars) $202 pp round trip from Baltimore to Orlando. We spent almost $100 in actual cash because we paid for the "Priority" seating since we have 4 kids and wants to be able to be seated together.

DH and I both got cards and 100,000 pts. We just came back from rt buf to mco and we only used 2390 pts. We flew Tuesday to Tuesday so that helped keep the pt total low. We still have enough for 3 more trips for the both of us!

We got the 50,000 and used most of that to fly RT BUF-LAX... we visited DLR for the first time!! We would not have made the trip without the points. The total trip cost us about as much as we'd spend on a long weekend to NYC or Toronto.

For folks who are considering one of these offers (I think it's 25K points right now) - go for it! SW's program is one of the more versatile and generous out there. If you already have a Chase Disney card or some other Chase account, your approval process is very quick too.

The SW Visa is great!! My dh and I each signed up when they were offering 50,000 reward points. All of us(5) flew free rt to wdw and have almost enough already for another trip to wdw. I am charging all I can on it and then paying that part off a few days later. Wish I could figure out a way to pay HELOC on it. That would add up big time as I am working hard to pay it off with large payments monthly. We did pay the small amount for the early bird checkin or whatever it is called. So worth it as the plane was full.

That's awesome! We also got the SW CC for the 2 free tickets and are just waiting for fares to be released. They have so many good deals where you get extra points as well, I've racked up an additional several thousand in addition to 50,000 bonus miles. It will be more than enough for all 4 of our tickets. I would definitely recommend the card to anyone who is thinking about it.

We booked our trip last week. DH got the 50,000 deal, I had some points racked up on my card (We spent my initial bonus points last year) Bottom line, for in $140 annual fees and $15 in airline fees, we got $1200 in airfare and WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!

A trip we would've never made without finding out about this deal through this board! WOOT!

We got the 50,000 pt. deal and just used it on our wdw trip last month. It sure was nice to have almost free airfare. We used 48,000 pts. and now I wish I had gotten a card for myself, too, and not just one for my DH. Is the 50,000 deal still out there?
