I slept late because I wasn't feeling well last night and didn't sleep much. After I got dressed I glanced out my bedroom down the stairs and saw a large fuzzy thing running by the bottom of the stairs Either the mice were getting bigger or the kittens had gotten loose. Yep, the kids forgot to close the family room door and they figured out how to get past my makeshift barrier.

I am so glad they stayed downstairs. If they had gotten up into my bedroom while I was sleeping and made noises or jumped on the bed they would have scared the bejeezers out of me!

So I had to go on a kitten hunt. One came back on her own--she is the less adventerous "love me, love me" kitty. The other I had to track down. It is harder when they don't know their names yet.

I just stepped on one of the kittys, hard. I think I got her tail. She seems to be okay but now she is terrified of me and won't come near me. And this was Lacy, the one that just wants to be held and loved.

She just keeps eyeing my shoes (the ugly expensive ones) and running and cowering in the corner.
