AN ANGEL OF LOVE

The answer came in a dream one night
When I saw my child smiling down on me
God did not take my child from me
For punishment or to be cruel

You see, God gave my child wings
Wings of an Angel to watch over me
To watch over me in times of need or strife
Or in times of happiness to watch over me
Through my life. And when it is my turn
To join God in Heaven my very own angel
Will be there to welcome me with love
And opened wings

Now my prayer to the Lord up above,
"Oh, Lord, I can now see through the
Tears that I shed, you made my baby
An angel. An angel of your love"

And to my Angel, I say this day
I'll make you proud as any child could be
Now that I can see you are an Angel
In heaven waiting for me.

I'm so sorry, honey.

I lost my first son 17 years ago this past Friday. I STILL miss him and who he could've been.

Please know that you will be going through stages and it's very normal. Hang in there, there's a long road ahead that you will make it through.
