I am very seriously considering the DLH next spring for our family of 6 ... we stayed there just when they were starting the reno about 3 years ago and I'm using the EMH to try to justify lodging there again.

Thanks for the updates. Did you watch the fireworks from your room last night? Looking forward to hearing about lunch and WoC. We haven't been to Carthay yet, and we've never had a truly good view of WoC.

Sooooooooooo, the day started a bit strange..we did EMH again so many people confused about where to go, the were blocking the EMH folks from getting in. Got into the part, my youngest two headed to the ride and we headed to the fp line which already had aa switch back. Well about 0730
I get a text from a diser who wanted to meet me, he had some special fp's we could have we could talk. Well he took me down to 1901 and had guide give me a private tour of the club...so amazing. Talked for an hour, wound up with 10 fp's for RSR, 4 for screamin 6 people for each pass and a couple more.

Will post pics when smugmug takes them. It seems likeI have ridden many things many times. We cancelled the lunch, no one was hungryat that time and we were way over in Disney land.

Sounds awesome! We "won" Screamin FPs with our RSR FPs one day, Ariel's (ha) the next. These were the 6 person ones so we had 42 Screamin...I could only do it a couple of times, but my kids went crazy!

We just left Big Thunder Jamboree. Great time...be sure to stop there if you get a chance this week!

We loved watching the fireworks from our room so much during our one DLH trip that we never watched them in the park. Sorry about canceling lunch, but at least it wasn't because something negative happened. I, personally, find it hard to be hungry enough to justify some of the bigger meals during our summer trips. Maybe it's the heat. Hopefully you will still have a chance to catch WoC this week if you are still wanting to see it. Sounds like you had an awesome morning.
