We are not newbies by any means but we haven't been for 2 years and we have a crazy trip upcoming.

My daughter is going down with her school for Disney Wide World of Sports. She is getting a 3 day ticket with the trip cost. (I have asked the school if I can get her a ticket on her own, still waiting on that) If not, I will make sure to add 2 more days to her band/ticket before she uses her last day.

My younger daughter and I are flying down on a Wed and I have booked CBR for 8 days/9 nights. My daughter flies in with her team Thursday. Her team leaves Tuesday AM and she will be joining us in our room Tues-Thurs. My husband flies in on Friday and will be staying with us until we all leave Thursday AM.

So for now I have a CBR preferred room (special discount rate) for the 3 of us and I have added 4 day tickets for 2 adults/1 child. The reason is because that is the most my husband will use as he is flying in late afternoon Friday and we are all leaving Thursday early.

1. So now my concern is fast passes. My daughter and I will be upgrading our tickets to at least 6 days and possibly 7 days. Can I do this on the same reservation or do we all have to have the same days on one reservation package? If not, what other options do I have? I guess do room only and buy tickets separate? I really want the 4 free Disney Wide World of Sport tickets you get with the package, as my husband and I will be taking turns going to see older DD play while the other stays with younger DD to the park. That saves us from paying $18 each time we go.

2. I am guessing I can not book fast passes for my daughter since at this point she has a separate 3 day pass that I might not be able to get my hands on to extend until we are down there. Any suggestions/advice or loopholes I do not know about? I really wanted to book 4 fast passes the last 2 days we are there as a family.

3. When getting fast passes, can I only get them for as many park day tickets or as many days we are there? We will probably rest one day and only get a 6 day. Just not sure which day is our rest day yet.

UGH - I hate this new fast pass system. The old one was just so much easier for situations like this.

1a. All guests on the same PACKAGE reservation must order the same PACKAGE tickets.
1b. Yes.
1c. If so, your'e stuck.
2a. If you can't put that ticket onto an MDE account, you can't book advance FP+.
2b. You can buy additional tickets for her and simply NOT USE them at the park,
You can book advance FP+ with them, then just HOLD them for future use.
3. Yup.
4. Fully agree. Disney did not think this through.

Thank you so much for your help. I think deep down I knew all these answers but it has been 2 years and you never know. I like the option of still buying a ticket and not using it until the future. But..... if I do keep it, next time I won't be able to add it to my account for fast passes, correct?

Your ticket can remain in your MDE account and can be reassigned to anyone on your list.

Prior to your next trip, you can use the entitlements to pre-book your FPs.
