we had tribunal today.....

hi today we had our tribunal at sendist (special needs disability tribunual), as my ds didnt get a secondary school place, and it went very well, we were given our first choice of school, im glad thats all over now!, was a bit of a worry now we can uniform shop, hes very pleased, and so are we the school has a unit set up for autistic children

As a mum of a child who has a dual diagnosis (DS & ASD) I know just how tough it can be to fight for your rights and life seems to be one constant battle but if there is one thing I have learnt along the way is that 'parent power' comes out on top and wins in the end. bt OMG the school sells its own uniform how expensive!! prices are mad, gonna cost a small fortune!
still suppose its a small price to pay for getting our way xx
