We had snow Saturday

We very rarely get snow. The kids were so excited. They made snow angels, had a snow ball fight and just enjoyed running around in it.

Then out popped the sun and the snow was all gone.

A friend of mine that lives in Concord said they had snow Sat too.

Do you have enought bread, milk, and TP to last about 3 months now????

hahahaha, i live in alabama, and that's what happens here. if a TV weatherman even whispers the word snow, every loaf of bread and jug of milk in the state is sold out by sundown. we were supposed to have a very light snow saturday morning, but i woke up to nothing but rain.

I actually didn't stop and get any.....I figured the stores would already be out when I got off work Friday anyway. Usually if they say snow we don't get anything, maybe a few snowflakes but nothing on the ground. DD & I had to get up for a girl scout activity Saturday morning and I told her it snowed. She went to wake DS and tell him....his response was "yeah right."

The kids did play in it until DD had to get ready for girl scouts. DS went to stay with my dad while we were gone (DH had drill) and dad said he stayed outside playing in the snow until it melted.

We finally MIGHT get some snow tomorrow. They are predicting 6-8" but we will see. The southern part of the state has blizzard warnings out but I don't think we will get that.

I was surprised our county didn't call school off for Monday when they woke up to snow on Saturday morning!!!
