-We had no problems redeeming our LMT vouchers at the GC when we checked in. The hotel is filled to capacity apparently. Got to the park by 5pm. Headed straight for Thunder Ranch BBQ. Decent food but over priced imo. Was walking past btmr and noticed the fastpass time was still up and available 20 minutes from the time that we noticed. I thought that was odd and the cm mentioned that the parks are very busy (which they are) but the rides are not?? Grabbed a fp and then got onto pirates with a 15 minute wait. Got into haunted mansion with a 15 minute wait, got right to the front and hm broke down and we had to wait approx 10 minutes for it to get up and running. I was worried because we had not checked into fantasmic dessert yet. We finally got through and made it back to the check in for fd at 8:20 and would you believe we got front row????? We did not notice any extra seating for fd. Fd was worth every penny imo and we stayed after and watched the fireworks from our chairs. After it was done we hopped the train back to main street and are back at the hotel for the day. I believe we had some pixie dust luck today!!pixiedust:
Side note: They have put up a sign into the back entrance from the GC into DCA saying everyone must go to the front of the park to collect WOC fp tickets they cannot come through the side gate to get them….ugggh. I am not sure if that includes hotel guests I will ask tomorrow.
Tomorrow we do DCA and our WOC dinner package at WCT. I will report back on how that goes.

So glad you had a great day! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad usually has reasonable FP return times. Many people who visit the parks many times a year often don't care about riding the rides so much; they just kind of hang out in Disneyland, especially when waiting for shows. So it's not really uncommon for the parks to be busy but the rides not to be so busy.

(Except Space Mountain. Aside from early morning or after a breakdown, I don't think I've ever seen that one below about 25 minutes. ;) )

I hope your dinner package goes well! I think you should be fine as long as you get there well before the 7:30 time they say you're supposed to arrive. :sad2:

Glad you are having fun! I hope you can find out more info on the lines for the WOC and the guests from GCH. that would suck to have to go out the main way and go thru DTD and then into the DCA to get in line? Or just exit the GRR and then walk over to the main entrance to get in line? Sounds like a pain. To bad the hotel doesnt include a FP for WOC as a perk for guests if they would like one. Then hand it out at check in! :lmao: But I am sure that would be too confusing for them to manage.. :rolleyes1 .... I wonder how early people are lining up to get a Fp since its been 3 days now.... Hope you have a great day today!

Wow! Pixie dust indeed!:goodvibes Hope your WCT dining experience goes well! Glad to hear you are having a great time!!:wizard:

Thanks for the Fantasmic! update!

So excited to give these F! dessert "tickets" (kids are making a certificate on the computer) to DH for Father's day.

Sounds like you and your family are off to a really great and fun start with your vacation! Next time don't forget to pick me up ;) No really.... :)
