We were at Disneyland Paris from the 22nd to the 26th November.
I used my DVC points to book a room at the Disneyland Hotel for the first time, we usually stay at the Davey Crockett.

We got a dirty room, I complained to the manager on duty that I didn't think it should happen, especially when people are paying the amount of money that the Disneyland Hotel costs.

The next day there was a message on the tv to speak to the manager about our upgrade to the castle club!:wizard: We were given a park view room, the room next to the Presidential Suite! I got to look down Main Street at the castle in an empty park, it was magical.:cloud9:

The Cast Members were all fantastic, and there was even one that recognised us from past years trips to different hotels.:cheer2:

The only problem now is, we want to stay there again.:rotfl:

thats fantastic, im glad they sorted it out for you

Wow that's really a dream come true, great to hear about proper Disney service and glad you enjoyed your trip to DLP :goodvibes

Great to hear that they sorted your problem quickly and in such style too! Delighted for you! Will it be difficult to stay 'ordinary' again??????:banana::banana::banana:

OOh I am soooooooooo jealous!!! Yes pictures please...

I tried to get lots of pictures of the park with no one in it, but my camera is a bit rubbish.:headache:
I got a few, but they are currently on DH computer, if anyone seriously wants to see them I will try to figure out how to put them on.:confused3

I had a wonderful time, I really didn't want to come home.:sad2:

It even had DH saying we would have to stay there again.:woohoo::yay: He usually says that we don't need to pay for the more expensive hotels as we are only in them to shower and sleep, so this is a real:eek: from him.

I need to stay at the Sequioa Lodge and the Newport Bay Club, then I have completed my aim of staying at all the Disney hotels on site.
The only thing now is we are trying to figure out how to fit a visit to the castle club in with each stay.:rotfl:

Do they ever offer discounts on the castle club?

I'd love to see the photos too. :thumbsup2

How lovely to be able to say you've stayed at every hotel. :goodvibes

I think sjaakie managed to get shareholders discount on Castle Club a few years ago bur IIRC she was surprised as I don't think it's usually given ~ I'm under the impression that it doesn't come under the offers ie. 30% or 40% either.

Ok, it has taken me most of the day to get the photos from DH's computer, and put them into some sort of order. I have made an album at snapfish of castle club view pictures. Does anyone know if I can just link to it?

Some of them are not very good, but there are a few I really like. Our camera decided to pick this trip to play up, so some of them are a bit blurry.

wow how good a service is that, was the room you were given in a really bad state then?

Nice to hear stories like this, keeps it a bit magical. Wouldn't happen anywhere else!
