With all the lights on! It was soooo cool!

We were on the ride and it stopped twice, both times re-starting. Then finally just as we entered the section with the fortune teller, the ride stopped again. We sat there with the sounds still running for at least 10 minutes. You have no idea how obnoxious those ghosts can be when you have to listen to it over and over and over again. Every once in while a cm would come on asking us to stay in our seats and we'd be moving again soon.

Finally, the crowd was getting a bit antsy (we were wasting some great ride time while the fireworks were going on) and they finally announced that cm's would be coming to assist us.

They turned on all the lights and a couple of cm's showed up and escorted us out of the ride. We got to walk past everything we had moved through on our way out.

It was really neat seeing it all in the light and the cm's were so apologetic and begging us to please not touch anything and not to stop on our way out.

They even gave us passes to get on any ride in the park that night! I love it when stuff like that happens!:teeth:

Hehe, try being stuck on Its a Small World for 30 mins...you need mental rehab afterwords!!

That's awesome! I'd love to get to walk through a ride
I thought I was going to get to walk through splash mountain after being stuck on it for 45 (I should get an award or something) minutes
But that's awesome especially about the any-ride pass!

I got to ride ToT with the lights on - my first time on it (and wondering what the heck the big deal was because the ride looked like crud! Lets just say the room at the top is NOT very magical! :rotfl: ) i was a bit put off at the time but now that I've seen it with the lights off I'm happy I did get to ride it "broken down".

Peter Pan is insanely annoying when you get stuck on that one. We were on that for 45 minutes. GAH!

the wife and I got to walk through the universe of energy. It was really neat to see all of the various parts of that ride. Some people even stopped to have their picture taken with the dinosaurs at the beginning.

Cool!!!!

We got stuck on the TTA right inside Space Mtn. We just laid back and watch the asteroids fly by for 40min!! Luckily it was not at a point where there was audio repeating. We got the passes too! They had to walk us out..that was cool.

I have been stuck in the fortune tellers room before and I oh my It drove me crazy! Kinda like that "Head on" commercial. LOL

How cool you got to see the ride!

I got stuck on Space Mountain once and then got to ride with the lights on. Its like a different ride with lights on.

We didn't get stuck on HM in DL, but the sound in our "Doom Buggy" wasn't working. It was very eerie without the soundtrack. The bride's heartbeat was especially loud and haunting.

We did get stuck on POC in DL once for 30 minutes. We were in the town scene before the fires. They turned on the lights. The forced perspective of the scenery doesn't work as well in the light, but it was neat to see.

This happened to my DH & I on Expedition Everest! We had to walk down 17 flights of stairs in June! It was cool to see under the mountain though. We broke down on the coaster right when you see the Yeti shadow. We had never been on the ride before, so we were so dissappointed and didn't know what to expect! It was so neat to go behind the scenes and under the mountain. Of course, I snapped some pics and we each got 2 free fast pass tickets for the ride! It was worth it! :thumbsup2

Sure! Here they are! I'll have to explain... :rotfl: Most of them I took under came out dark and fuzzy...plus, you couldn't really tell what they were, since it's a large hollow mountain! I wish we could have seen the yeti, but oh well!

Here's my DH under Everest...we're all in line escaping! See how excited he is!?

We only ever seem to get broken down things on simulators when we reckon someone's puked up on it.

This could poosibly a new thread in the future..

What ride would be the worst to be stuck on?
