We got something odd in the mail ...

Hey Dis gals ...

We got something strange in the mail. It was addressed to my fiance, and showed 1 room night, and at the bottom it said we owed $0.00.

Would this be for the free night we get on our honeymoon? I know my fiance hasn't booked our honeymoon yet. It's just for one night, was what the paper said.

I'll be a little irked if my fiance and his dad didn't plan for a week (because that's what we have planned) LOL, but I don't rightly think they have planned for it yet. Why would it be in his name and sent to us?

So I'm assuming it's our free night in a room? Thanks if you know ! How did you all get your free night's notice?

Ours too. I think it's hilariously sexist the way they put it in the groom's name - all our other honeymoon reservations were in my name! But I'm sure it's just because they don't know whether the bride will be changing her name or not.

Thats how ours came too.

I though they put it in the grooms name, because at least the way they use to do it, was the groom paid for the honeymoon. Not sure how well that works anymore, its not like every brides parents pay for the wedding and the grooms parents pay for the flowers and RH dinner. How knows anymore.

They put ours in as Robert and Meghan Lightbrown (his last name is Lightbown) So not only could they not spell, they married us off prematurely!
