I'm so excited! My inlaws took us shopping and got us our camping gear as an early Christmas present. We ended up deciding on the Columbia Cougar Flats II tent, (any experience with this one? It has great reviews on Amazon) Coleman queen airbed for us and double for the kids, sleeping bags, and a Coleman lantern and stove! We're going to have a camping trip or two before we go to work out the kinks.
I'm going to get a ground tarp, outdoor mat, and painters plastic to help keep the tent bottom clean and in one piece.
Like others have suggested we will each of toiletry bags, towels, etc. for the comfort station.
We are staying in the 700 loop. My inlaws will have their 40+' RV and we're sharing the site. Anyone have experience on this loop? I know it's close to a lot of stuff which will make life easier with the two little ones!
