Congrats on getting your date - this really does make it real for you, you'll be in a planning frenzy now and it's easier to start getting your timetable sorted.

I think I may be in a state of permanent panic now for the next 12 months - there seem to be so many things to do!

We get to sign our contract - the letter of agreement - in December, which will be 8 months out from our date

oh see I was confused when I spoke to DFTW as I though you could not guarentee your date till 8 months if you went with a convention centre reception site! So we have only a few as we thought we would lose our date if we couldnt get our date at 12 months!

I may have to email them now and clarify that as we are not sold on our locations at all for the reception!

I've got no idea when the save the date cards go out - I think I may make some for the whole of our families to try to ascertain if there are any others who do want to come over with us, though.

I was able to book at 12 months, but we don't formally contract until the 8 month mark as our first two locations (YCG and GF) are outside of the parks

Yes its so confusing all this 12 month and 8 month mark! We are going with the pavillion and ariels hopefully and we can contract at 12 months so at least I know I cant be bumped for a convention.

We are going to be there at the same time as you but our wedding is on the 30th of July at 2.30, and we fly back to the UK on the 8th of August. We are also having the Whitehall room but we couldn't get UK lower and had to have Morocco.
