But I am so confused.:confused3

There are so many discounts out there right now, I have no idea which is best for us.

The PIN we got is Free Quick Service Dining (2 QS and 2 snacks, and free refillable mugs), 4-night/5-day with park tickets, 2/28-7/3.

But then I see the kids stay/dine free package with Disney Visa.

And, there is the free gift card package.

We are a family of 5, but the baby is 1, so he is "free". The other kids are okay eaters, and we can usually find something anywhere to eat.

Help me spend our money to get the most bang for our buck. Would like to go in June as that would out best for our schedule.

We'll be there the first week of August, just sayin' :rolleyes1

What I would recommend is to choose your dates and resort of choice and then get a price with your pin code and each of the Disney promotions and then compare them. For Deluxe resorts the room only discount usually works out to be the biggest savings. For Value resorts the free dining is a really good offer.

Kim, you know entirely too much about Disney! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Let's see- in each case, the room portion of the package will be rack rate, right? So the room portion will be the same cost. The Kids Free pkg covers their DP and tix. The Free QS DP covers the 2 adults and 2 kids for the cost of DP, but tix need to be purchased. The Free GC depends on the level of resort you stay at.

So, to be even, let's say you stay at a Moderate for 4 nights in June. You get 5 day base tickets.

Lodging Rack Rate- 4 nights, no weekends, standard view@ $185/night + tax= approx $835

Tickets from WDW- adult 5 day base- $243 each child 5 day base- $208 each

Dining Plan- Full Service: $47 per night per adult. $13 per child per night.
Dining Plan- Quick Service: $32 per adult per night, $10 per child per night.

Free GC promo, staying at Moderate resort: $500

SO:
With Free QS,Total cost= $1737 *Total $$ value of discount= $336

With Kids Eat and Play Free, (2 kids aged 3-9, little one free) Total cost= $1697 *Total $$ value of discount= $520 **Adults would e required to get the regular DP, so added that in**

With Free GC, Total cost (with Reg DP)= $1717, assuming you use the GC toward your DP or room. *Total $$ value of discount= $500

With Free GC, Total cost (with QS DP)= $1573, assuming you use GC toward your DP or room. *Total $$ value of discount= $500

Hope I did all the math right!!

***OH! Forgot to add- on the regular DP, tips are NOT included in the price, so add on about $15-20 per day for those...

Congrats, I never get PINs... Without doing any fancy math like the PP, I would assume that the kids free would be better. Where are you going to stay?

The inclusion of the CS dining AND tickets is quite a deal. I'd be tempted.

We're kicking the idea around of a stay at BCV for a week in August for our Disney fix.

I'm interested in June because of the Electric Light Parade is back. It's a favorite from childhood.

As far as accomodations, with a family of 5 anything that fits us all will work.

She does....Not only all this stuff, but she has the gift shops down COLD!!

We are there June 16 - 21 for Father's Day. This was supposed to be Mike's surprise trip.:rolleyes1 But planning a surprise trip with nosy Mike is nearly impossible. Anyway, we did the 40% off and are staying Poly Concierge. My new planning philosophy is that it's all in what you want. I also looked at AKL with the gift card. Good luck!

I would not be surprised if the "savings" turns out to be about the same. Disney is trying to find out what "deal" has the most appeal.

I would think adult only vs. family with children would definitely need different deals!

Make sure to share the dates when you have them, we will be in Lakeland the last week of July/first week of August. I am having John take me to MK for our anniversary. If you guys are there we have to link up for a drink at least.
