...and my office is like a ghost town. I live 6 miles from work, and it took 45 minutes to get here. The roads are a mess - we don't get a lot of snow, so when it does hit, it takes a while to get things cleared. I am the only person from my department in the office right now.

Guess I can turn up the music :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:  :rockband:

I'm not going into my office today... I'm not taking the chance of getting into an accident!!! Classes are still on, and they expect everyone to go in even with the snow still falling!

Not sure how much we got but there are 3-4 ft snow drifts in our yard and driveway, it took my poor husband almost an hour just to get out of the driveway this morning

Hey JCJRSmith...I'm just around the corner from you in Dillsburg! The roads are pretty bad...Luckily I don't have to be at work until 10:15 this morning. My kids are happy to have a day off from school...DH is not so happy, he is working nights this week and trying to sleep.

See, that's why it's good to live in Atlanta. All it takes is the suggestion of snow and we just shut everything down and stay home for the day. :cool1: My kids were so disappointed this morning--below freezing but no snow(or ice.) They looked so sad trudging off to the bus.

I am about an hour north along the river from you. We have about the same amount. The sun is out in full force now.Schools are closed (so no work for me) and the kids are shoveling. I am going to take advantage of this snow day to get my Christmas shopping done and get a jump on classroom plans.

We got 5 inches last night. Some rural schools were closed but other than that, we never close anything around here. We get that lake effect stuff so we are used to getting a lot of snow.

We got about the same. Nothing is closed up here in the Toronto area either. The roads aren't even ploughed yet. It is beautiful here right now now with the sun shining and clean, white snow everywhere.

Hi,
I'm in Clearfield,PA and we have about 8 inches . School are closed but now our first make up day is Dec 23!!! That is going to be one long week with some excited five and six year olds in my kindergarten class! :teacher:
