On our very first day, we went to Disney Studios to meet another family for dinner. It was our first venture into the parks, and I was not planning to do any rides--just dinner at BD and then Fantasmic. Immediately upon entering, we were approached by a cast member. I have to admit that my first thought was, oh he is going to ask to take our picture for photopass, but where was the camera? And what a dumb spot for a picture. Instead, he asked us what our favorite ride was. My younger daughter (after YEARS of patiently waiting to grow and eating her veggies!) was FINALLY tall enough to ride R-N-R, so of course that is what we said. The cast member told us that he would personally escort us to the front of the line for Rock-N-Roller Coaster! This was about 4:00 on December 27th, and the wait was 150 minutes
(which was why I had not planned to do any rides this evening!). We were escorted through the exit and popped right onto R-n-R. It was fantastic!
The next day, we went to MK at 7a.m. Around 9:30ish, when we were exiting Splash Mountain, they were handing out Dream Fastpasses, and all 10 in our party got them! We were thrilled.
Since we had been on such a roll, I wondered if we would get magical moments every day of our trip! Alas, it was only the first two days out of our 10 day stay. Still, the entire trip was magical, and the two dreams sure started us off on the right foot!
