It isnt that long till we go for our halloween trip to DLP. Today I paid our travel insurance. My dd has kindly informed me I snore, so i had to tell my cousin that as we are sharing a room. My dd is one to talk *** she can narf snore herself. I am sure I am not that bad, I whisper to her and she tell me to stop shouting.

I am worried about a few things though, my dd's food intolerances are getting worse, she is reacting to most things that would be available at DLP, I am going to have to stock up on a few dozen fruit bags from asda as she is mainly just happpy to eat those and it is the only thing that does not give her problems. It might save a fortune on food though but it doesnt make any difference when booking restaraunts as i am going to have to pay for her to have a meal which she cannot probably have unless it is chips! So I am wondering do they offer lower rates for kids who really wont eat? I want to do cafe mickey and buy a birthday cake for her to have given even though she wouldnt be able to eat it it is more for the experience of having it given and the fuss she will get, but I begrudge spending £20 when she will happily sit there eating a 50p fruit bag from asda! It is unreal my cousins one year old gets it free and she eats more than my dd.

I am also going to have to watch what i eat, I have been on a trial diet of banning foods what could be giving me problems and it is working, is anyone aware of over the counter medicines that can be bought to slow down the digestive system? I am trying not to be so graphic here, but I am sure most of you will know what i am going on about, I am to much of a wimp to go to the gp about it as I worry they will send me for tests and i wouldnt want to know the outcome of it.

Despite all the worry, we are looking forward to it.

Don't worry about the food situation. DB doesn't eat anything at all that DLRP offer either, so what we do is as follows:

In table service restaurants, just book your table and order a required. No problems here whatsoever and they don't care.

In buffet restaurants, you need to tell your waiter as soon as you go in. Just explain that they won't be eating anything (you don't always need to even explain why, just tell them they have a special diet) and you will again, not be charged a penny for your DD.

Hope that helps :goodvibes

I agree with UK Stitch, that's exactly what you need to do. And you also need to visit your GP, I expect it's something quite simple and you'll wish you'd gone ages ago.
We must be going on the same day as you - 2 months today. Have just paid the balance :eek:

More people going the same time! Let's hope that the amount of DISers going isn't indicative of the level of people in the park!

What age is it that children eat free up to then?

My son is only going to be 18 months (although he eats more than I do!) but all the info I've seen just says a child up to 11 price but no lower age!

Children under 3 eat free at buffets.

Excellent. This might actually mean that we can afford to eat in more expensive restuarants as it might be as cheap to have 2 buffets and a free child buffet rather than 2 meals and a kids meal :cool1:

Is there a list of the costs of the buffets anywhere?

Yes there seems to be alot of us going the same time, no doubt taking advantage of the extra day and night free offer!

We arent staying anywhere as extravagant as the DLH only the sequoia lodge, I am hoping *** we arrive so late (near enough 7-8pm) due to flights we might qualify for a free upgrade hahahaa

Excellent. This might actually mean that we can afford to eat in more expensive restuarants as it might be as cheap to have 2 buffets and a free child buffet rather than 2 meals and a kids meal :cool1:

For example

Annette's Diner

2 x Adult menu = 33 Euros
1 x Kids menu = 11.80 Euros

Total = 44.80 Euros

Agrabah Cafe

2 x Adult Buffet = 42 Euros
1 x Child (under 3) Buffet = FREE

Total = 42 Euros

Seems that I might get the chance to eat somewhere else if its cheaper than Annettes :woohoo: :woohoo:
