Excellent morning at MK today.
It started off ominously enough......8 am opening and I forgot that the express monorail wasn't running yet. We opted for the resort monorail over the boat, so we didn't arrive at bag check (by FAR, the most frustrating time of our entire morning) until 7:40 and the welcome show was already beginning. TWENTY minutes later, and we were on our way.
804 am - walked on Peter Pan. Loved the new queue through the house. Definitely a more pleasant place to wait now.
820- walked on Under the Sea. Had a brief delay in which we had to stare at Ursula for a couple of minutes, but it was fun.
830 - Walked onto Pooh. We were surprised and delighted that our delayed arrival hadn't cost us much in wait times so far.
845 - Decided to check out Frontierland since crowds still seemed quite low.....8-10 wait at BTM, so we hopped on. After a great ride, we decided to push our luck and try Splash. The wait time said 10 min, but I was skeptical.
920 - We're on Splash and lovin life, but then "ole brer fox and brer bear was causin' a commotion upstream...." After 5-10 minutes of staring at brer bear dumping honey in his mouth with his feet, we splashed down and headed toward Adventureland.
935 - Used a FP at Jungle Cruise. And I asked myself, Why? ( as always)
Took some extra time to get a nice lady in an EVAC loaded, but still was out around 10 AM.
1015 - Crossed over to Tomorrowland and used a 1015 FP at Space Mountain. I must be getting old, because it beat the stuffings out of me, almost to point that it really wasn't fun.
1040 - Let our son do some shopping in Tomorrowland before heading to Be Our Guest for an 1115 ADR. We were out and through with the MK by noon. Great morning. AK tonight for EE, KS at night, and Jungle Book.
