Thanks to these Disboards...

We booked our two trips for 2003 thru Dreams Unlimited. Our agent is Dagny. Although, we have yet to speak to her over the phone, we could tell just by her e-mails that she is extremely polite.

Its nice to know that we have our rooms all set and when all the discount codes come out for each time of the year we are going.......we don't have to worry. Dagny and Dreams Unlimited will take care of updating our reservations AUTOMATICALLY so we will get the cheapest rates..

No more waiting for the "CODES"

I am a bit surprised more people don't talk / take advatage of Dreams Unlimited.

I too...booked with DU. I booked our rooms at the Dolphin with the great "nurse rate" although the Dolphin site listed no availability for the dates I am going! I posted my bad news here...and someone reccomended trying DU...and they got the rooms :D These boards are great...

Us too!

We used them for our trip last June & they were wonderful! I would highly recommend them to everyone:D

I recommended Dreams to my friend who had finally convinced her farmer husband who doesn't like to travel to go to Disney ... I emailed her planning info three times and she kept asking for it again .. I knew by the time she really decided to go and started planning that she really needed help ... she didn't get Cindy's Castle (way too late in planning), but she did contact Dreams (she is a very independent, do it yourself person) and she just raves about Dreams! Her DH loved Disney by the way ... she was talking to someone when they were at Disney about all the activities they'd done and the person, who had been to Disney several times, was amazed at all the things they had done on their first trip. Dreams made the difference!

This will be our third trip through Dreams Unlimited. After making 5 calls to CRO the other night, I am soooooo glad to turn over my reservation to DU and let them help us. We love the advise and ideas from DU. I also love them making my PS reservations--hurrah. Their responses are quick, friendly, and helpful. Thanks DU!!:D

Dagny has helped me with the last three room only trips to WDW. She is great! And I agree, DU agents do all the dirty work for you!

can you still call the resort with requests and room locations, etc.?

Hi Samsma!

Actually, if you let your consultant know your room location requests or any other resort requests, they will make sure that information is noted on your reservation. That information is then transmitted to the resort a few days before your arrival and they have time to work out accommodating your request. It is not possible for Disney to guaranty all your requests, but they do a pretty good job most of the time.

I too booked through DU.

I contacted them about my special request ('upgraded view if available...Epcot preferred') because it didn't appear next to my reservation on the Starwood site.

The reply said " The view has been sent on to the hotel and it has been noted but you will have to request it at check-in as well." That doesn't sound too encouraging...or like he is going to check back on that for me. Should I call the Dolphin myself to make sure?

I know I am acting nuts...but this is our first solo trip...and I will be on my own most of the time while DH is busy at a conference. I would enjoy and love an upgraded view...if possible.

Any input?

Are you a starwood preferred guest? If you are, they say they will upgrade to the best view available at check-in. Go to Starwood site and sign up, its free. Also you could sign up for the Starwood American Express, and build up a few points between now and then, then spend points for a better view or even club level. They have a place at Starwood.com for room requests, but I don't know how this works if you are with a travel agent.

DU booked my trip in 2000 and did a great job! Now I have a room only reservation through them for the Dolphin. They were able to get me the teacher's rate after Dolphin reservations said it was unavailable for the date I wanted!
