The Magic is too much to resist. DW and I have decided to take another family trip to Disney World. We took DS (10) and DDS (twins 7) in January 05 and January 06. We did a week each time and took them out of school for > 5 days. DW said no more week long trips away from school and I chose not to argue the issue at least for now. The great compromise a surprise 5 day trip using MLK weekend . We just booked January 10-15, 2007 and we feel more excited about this quick trip than last years 8 day journey. We said we were going someplace new this year, however, we got caught up in the magic and well you know the story.
I would love to hear from others who have done rather spontaneous short trips. We hope to do much less planning this time and just enjoy and experience what feels right at the moment. We are staying at Beach Club and the pool is on my list.
