Our trip last week was wonderful!

I was able to get ressie's for Cindy's Royal Table as a surprise for my DD (age 7). She had a great time! Grandma is making a new costume for Halloween which will be worn during our December WDW trip. Costume is the red Holiday dress worn by Belle.

Anyway, what is the next best Character meal to try to get ressie's for during our December trip? We have ONLY done Cindy's.

Where is the other Princess Character meal located? How is it compared to Cindy's?

At Epcot seems to be a great Breakfast held at Norway and I see many are going to it if they can't get CRT.:wave2:

The other princess meal is in Norway at Epcot. You get into the World Showcase before it opens (but be advised, it is a long walk from either entrance). The restaurant has a bit less room between tables, but when we went the service and food were good. There were only "face" characters - Aurora, Mulan, Mary Poppins and Jasmine.

Other good characters meals are Chef Mickey's at the Contemp. and Crystal Gardens (Pooh). Food is great at both and the setting is well suited to character table visits.

Another good thing is the Family Magic Tour. It's a funny hunt through the Magic Kingdom ending in a character visit. If you do it at a slow time of year, you might get a ride or two (last September, it ended with my daughter and the one other girl on the tour riding Peter Pan - WITH PETER PAN!) Obviously, you only get this individuyal attention if the tour is small (when we went with our other daughter, there were about 10 kids), but in any case it's really fun.

In May we did Cinderella's Gala Feast character dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.

It was AWESOME!! In fact, it was BETTER than the CRT we did in December!! CRT felt very rushed and my daughter and her cousin had very little time with each Princess. At 1900 Park Fare, we had LOTS of visitation time from each character, and since we had the last seating of the night, some even made it around twice!!! (Yep. ::yes:: We had both mice, Fairy Godmother, AND Cinderella two times each! :teeth: ::yes:: ) The Prince only came around once, but he was VERY enchanting! :)

After dinner, we took our "to go cup" of M&M's (provided by the BEST CM EVER, MaryEm, who had noticed that DD like them and wanted more when we were leaving!) and lounged in the lobby of the Grand Floridian, listening to the orchestra! We also had pictures made before dinner on the horse carriage out front! It was a truly MAGICAL evening!

kadaten- awesome pictures of your princess!

Thanks! As you can see, she had a fabulous time :)

We'll definitely do that one again! :)

What was the time you had for ressie's (you said they were the last for the night).

Cost?

I am assuming PS 90 days out?

Tough to get ressie's there?

Sounds great and I really want to see the decorations at the GF. I assume you can take the monorail? We will not have a car during our stay.

Thanks

I think our PS was around 8:15pm. The dining hours are 5pm-9pm. The night we were there, there was noone else waiting to be seated after us, but during busier times, I assumed they'd seat until 8:30 or later...

COST: $25.99/adults; Children 3-11 $10.99

I got this PS only 4 weeks out, but it was the only time available. We actually wanted to dine earlier so our younger son could come, but they had nothing before this time, so he and the grandparents skipped dinner. It's not quite as hard at CRT, but many people who don't get CRT try for this, so I'd call 90 days out if I really wanted it. I certainly will next time! :)

Yes, you can take the monorail to the Grand Floridian. You come in on the 2nd floor, though, so I'd make sure to step out front on the ground level to get pictures in the carriage! It's one of my favorites of all time. My DD had a ball posing up there! :)
