Queen, I just wanted to pop in and tell you to have a safe flight tomorrow (wave to me on the ground when you are over Chicago) and have a most magical trip with your family.

Glad your pilot light got relit but... midnight??? I get the priority stuff but you don't need someone with an engineering degree to light a pilot light.

Reminds me of this time we had our furnace serviced. A while after the guy left, I noticed we weren't getting any heat. I checked and sure enough the pilot was out. Luckily there were instructions on how to light it. Un-luckily I couldn't get it relit. I called the guy and he apologized and said that sometimes the pilot gets blown out. He was really puzzled that I couldn't re-light the pilot. I told him everything I'd done. Turn this knob to off. Wait 30 seconds. Turn it to start. Hold the blue button for 60 seconds, etc... nothing.
He again stated that he was puzzled. Was I sure I did it right? I again told him what I'd done.
"Hmmm." Says he, "And it still didn't light?"
I told him no.
Then he says, "So when you held the match over the pilot, nothing at all happened?"
And I said, "Match?"
Nowhere did it say you needed a match... it was just assumed. I just figured that there was some automatic lighter that would spark. Nope. Felt like an idiot... but I did get it lit after that!

I bet MM will love her first go at RnRC! Its DD10s fave ride in all of Disney. DD14 just asked if we could go to WDW for her 16th. That's my girl!

And I'm sure they'll love Sci Fi as well, both my girls really liked it.

I think you are right, I think she'll love it too! I think that's a wonderful idea ... spending your 16th birthday in WDW...doesn't get any better than that!

Happy to hear that the pilot light was relit. Just glad to know you didn't need to use your gas for anything during the day since it was midnight before they got to it.

Snow White's "birthday" day plans sound perfect.

Fortunately the only thing that needed relit was the hot water tank! Of course Jasmine felt she needed a bath that evening...we always want what we can't have

The kids will love Sci- Fi; it is one of our girls' favorites.

No luggage, they neglected to tell me it was into advanced orders so it hadn't even arrived from the supplier....I cancelled my order....I was none too happy though

I can't wait to see what they think of Sci Fi!

I can't remember if I've posted here before or not, but we are staying at AKL at the same time! My family will be in Kidani though. The trip is coming up so soon though!! Do you feel ready? I hope that you have a wonderful trip!

Hi there! We've been spending lots of time up at the cottage lately, which has been amazing, unfortunately Bell Canada has been giving us issues with having reliable internet up there, so I've been MIA.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. You've all had a rough summer and I'm glad that you had this trip planned to give you something to look forward to and now you can go and relax and recharge, with your dad's blessing. My grandmother passed away just weeks before we left for our trip in 2009 and my grandpa was the same way as your dad...go and enjoy, that's what she would want

On a more upbeat note, I can't believe you go this weekend! So, exciting In case I don't get back on here, have a fabulous time filled with pixie dust I'm very much looking forward to reading all about it when you get back

wooo for updates!!!! Before you know it, it will be Sunday The weather today was the mid 90s and it rained most of the day which was kind of icky but I was inside at work so I didn't mind it so much! My car was nice and cool when I left work
