Thank you to all that responded to my previous message, “new with one question.” We talked to our guide this morning and he explained to us 200 points was only about $30 more monthly. We felt that it was well worth it. We should receive the paperwork in the mail next week sometime.

I also want to thank whoever posted about making their annual date later. We moved our annual dated from Feb. to Sept. because we usually take our vacations in Sept/Oct. This also saved us some money because our annual payments will not start until Sept. 2004 instead of May 2004.

Thanks again!

Heather,

Congrats & welcome home!

 :wave2: WELCOME HOME!!!!!!

We started out with 200 points, and lived very nicely on that until last year, when we bought a second contract for 230 points.

When we had the 200 points alone, we used to go on a Friday, and stay Friday, Saturday, and sometimes Sunday in a regualr hotel(usually a moderate, unless we got a great deal on a deluxe), and then we'd move to the DVC property for the cheaper weekday nights.

We were generally able to go twice a year and stay in at least a one bedroom(and sometimes if we had another couple travelling with us we'd stay in a two bedroom for at least one of the trips) by splitting our stay like that.

I also enjoyed splitting the stay because we got to experience two different resorts, which was neat. Disney makes moving so easy that it wasn't a huge problem really.

welcome home

I guess this means you got SSR not BWV since the guides only have SSR to sell.
You'll love it there to.

Yes we decided on SSR because we are still young and would benifit from the extra 12 years.

Congratulations and Welcome Home.

SSR contracts are for 50 years:smooth:
