So, now that we bought our points (haven't closed yet though) I can feel those points burning a hole in my pocket. I want to go now soooo bad!
I doubt we will because we will be going as soon as my son is on leave but that could be another 6 months!
Just a quick trip, like the end of April when the kids are on vacation.

I want to go!!!!!

Any other new owners itching to go now?????

Not a new owner, but this cold is drivning me crazy, it's 15 here this morning, and "they" say it feels like 8!

I wouldn't blame you a bit if you pushed up the date of your first DVC trip!

We bought one Sept. and booked a VB trip for March. In December, we had planned to go on a Carnival cruise, to the Western Caribbean, to see the ruins. The temperatures when we usually cruise are so hot, we never felt like going to Tulum, and so December "felt" like a good time to do that. Well, in October, the thought of being in Florida (Miami was our port) in December without going to WDW was just too much. We extended our vacation to include the weekend after the cruise, there was availability in a studio at VWL, and we were in heaven. Our DGS was born then, December 19th 2003, while we were at the MVMCP and I think we were dancing with Goofy when he was born!

We're 11 year DVC vets, with over 30 trips under our belt (through DVC). We just returned in December and can't wait for our April trip!

Once you have the inch, you never lose it...... a great addiction.

I know the feeling! We just bought at SSR and have already booked a trip for May. I can't wait - it will be the first trip on a plane and to Disney for our twin boys! I'm already planning on how to use our points for next year.

Signed up Feb.1st & booked a trip on the 3rd for March! We were going to go anyway & it just made more sense to join--immediate out-of-pocket expenses were less.

We bought into DVC in December on our vacation. Since we were just at WDW my hubby didn't want to return so soon so we aren't going back until next January :-(
But at least by January 07 we will have two years worth of points so we can go for two weeks. It's going to be a long wait though.

We just closed a couple weeks ago and I have the itch too! I made our reservations but we won't be going until Nov. with our 2 granddaughters to see the Christmas decorations. They have never been and I can hardly wait to take them! Now I just have to sit and wait.
